Forest Beach Hilton Head 5* Reviews Visit April and May!

This renovated townhouse in Forest Beach is perfect for your spring vacation. Three bedrooms with a bedroom and bath on the first floor. All bedrooms have a full bath. There is a desk in the first-floor bedroom if you need to have quiet to do a little work while you're visiting. This townhome is close to the beach, Celebration Park which offers a pirate ship playground and a children's museum and Coligny Plaza with over 60 shops and restaurants with live entertainment, great food and shopping.

Enjoy lunch at Coast, oceanfront in Sea Pines

Had a lovely lunch with friends at Coast at the Sea Pines Beach Club, we enjoyed the views of the ocean from the inside because it was a tad chilly outside. They each had burgers and I had the Tuna Poke Wonton which was excellent! If you're a fan of the oceanside beach bar it has limited hours during the winter so be sure to check before you go.

Do you enjoy your wine?

You should visit the Rollers Wine Shop on Palmetto Bay Rd for Happy Hour. They have a nice selection of wines, choose from one of their appetizer/charcuterie boards on the menu or buy from their cheese/meat cases and they will make you a custom charcuterie board. You may buy wine by the glass or choose a bottle from their selection of wines. They are happy to make recommendations. They have a lovely patio for warmer weather. Furry friends are welcome on the patio and they have live music.

Are you a craft beer enthusiast?

If you're a craft beer lover then you should visit The Bank when you're on Hilton Head Island. The Bank is a newer venue on the island. The brewer is Side Hustle Brewing Co. which actually began as a side hustle. Their beer became so popular that they partnered with the Watterson Group to open The Bank. They have 20 beer taps, most of the beers are brewed by Side Hustle but they do have a few guest taps. You may want to try their award-winning South Island Pilsner. The Bank has several restaurants and food trucks with pizza, burgers, tacos, brats, and seafood. They also have ice cream for a sweet treat. There is no table service, if you run a tab at the bar you can order from a bartender and the food will be brought to your table, if you sit at one of the inside tables you can order using the table QR code and your food will be brought to the table if you sit outside (the outdoor dining area is terrific) you will have to go to the indoors or to one of the food trucks to order, they will text you when the food is ready and you can pick it up. The Bank is not pet-friendly.

Are you a Craft Beer Enthusiast?

If you enjoy craft beers you don't want to miss The Bank, one of the newer venues on Hilton Head Island. The Bank has a collection of food options including burgers, seafood, tacos, pizza, and brats, you'll want to try their pretzel with house-made beer cheese. There's also ice cream for a sweet treat. Side Hustle Brewing Co. provides most of the beer on the 20 available taps. Side Hustle is a local brewery that actually began as a side hustle, be sure to taste their award-winning South Island Pilsner. The system is a little confusing, if you run a tab at the inside bar and sit at one of the tables around the bar you can order from the bartenders and the food will be delivered to your table if you sit at one of the inside tables you can use the table QR code to order and the food will be delivered to your table if you choose to sit outside (their outside area is great and has a lot of seating), you will need to go inside to the food counter to order, they will text you when your food is ready and you will go inside to pick it up or you can visit one of their food trucks. You have to go to the inside or outside bar to get drinks. If you prefer a different beverage they do have a full bar. Trivia Night is on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00.

Another great visit to Michael Anthony's Cafe for Happy Hour with friends. It's one of the best Happy Hour deals on Hilton Head and the food is great, Happy Hour is 4:30-5:30. Easy to book on Open Table. Bring your puppy to sit on the patio so long as he/she is friendly with other guests. The Cafe also offers food to go. The lasagna is awesome!
