Tomorrow, I'm going to have a feeding program for children, known as "Kodomo Shokudo" in Japanese.

My friend gave me two octopuses for takoyaki so that I can offer a lot of takoyaki.
I cut the bamboo vertically for nagashi somen.
I have to boil somen tonight.

Everybody can join this event. Let's get together at "Sweet Home, Hiroshima!" tomorrow.

Today, a man gave me plenty of somen.

Last month, I posted on my page that I would be offering 'nagashi somen' to children this month.
A stranger who read it contacted me.
He said he could give me somen, and if I wanted it, he could bring it to "Sweet Home, Hiroshima!"
I answered, "I'm happy to hear that."
He delivered it just now.
I was so surprised because he brought a lot more somen than I expected.
He brought 12 kilograms of somen and even brought dipping sauce.
How many children do you think could be filled with all this somen?

We have an annual competition in the rainy season in Hiroshima.

We compete in putting out fires as quickly as possible as part of a volunteer firefighting team every year.
Our town team practices twice a week at night these days.
We're all practicing so hard.
The competition is going to be held this coming Sunday.

Everyone is welcome to come and cheer for our team.

Do you know what "Nagashi somen" is?

It's a traditional Japanese summer activity where thin wheat noodles are served flowing down a bamboo flume filled with cold water.
Participants catch the noodles with chopsticks as they pass by and then dip them in a sauce before eating.

I'll be offering "Nagashi somen" to children next month, so I have to prepare the bamboo flume.
Early this morning, I went to a bamboo grove and got some bamboo.
I brought it home, and I'll make the bamboo flume.

I just opened a donation box because I am going to hold a feeding program called 'Kodomo Shokudo' in Japanese.

I was so surprised to find a lot of money in it.
I couldn't believe it when I found 14,882 yen in it.

A magician is coming to Sweet Home, Hiroshima!.

There is a magician in my city, so I asked him, 'Would you come to Sweet Home, Hiroshima! to show some magic tricks to the children?
I can't pay you, but you can eat as much okonomiyaki as you want.
He agreed, so now I can share magic tricks with the children during the feeding program called 'Kodomo Shokudo' in Japanese.
He also said that he would teach any magic tricks to the children.
