So North Yorkshire has now gone into Tier 3 and sorry to say that Bailey's Retreat will be closing its doors until some point in 2021. I cannot thank enough those guests that have supported Bailey’s Retreat during these difficult times. Whilst we close our doors again, we do so knowing that we can provide much earned breaks in the future. We wish you all well but please keep safe and look after each other. See you soon

New Covid Rules in operation from Thursday. Masks/face coverings MUST be worn when visiting the restaurant or bar area and can only be removed when SAT at the table. Please don't forget its strictly table service only. Please wear masks when visiting the loo and departing etc. Last orders for drinks will be served at 9.30pm. 25 minutes drinking up time allows you to vacate the building before 10pm at the latest. We all want normality to resume as soon as possible so please respect the rules. Food service times remain the same 6pm until 8.30pm. Please pre-book a table wherever possible. So it is looking like we will be able to welcome guests into Baileys Retreat as of the 4 Jul. So after an in-depth meeting with our very experienced cleaner we will be opening up for bookings. There will be a number of measures put in place to ensure the safety of our guests and the cleaner.

👍 Most of the ornaments and children's games and toys will be removed. It will look a little empty but less items to touch and increasing safety.

👍We ask that guests bring their own bedding and towels where possible but we can provide if this is a problem.

👍There will be minimal items in the kitchen as they are all cleaned thoroughly between guest stays and not just checked.

👍All areas are cleaned thoroughly as well as soft furnishings with anti bacterial cleaning solutions.

👍Guests should be used to regularly washing their hands.

Further details will be provided to each guest prior to your stay

The following prices are for a 7 night stay with a Friday Check-In:

Jul - £540

Aug - £650

Sep - £600

Oct - £475

Nov - £350

There will be a £100 deposit required to hold the booking and full payment expected at least 4 weeks prior to your stay. Should the Government restrict travel and prevent you from coming then a full refund will be given.

Sneaton Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian building with stunning views out towards Whitby and Whitby Abbey. Perfect for getting away from it all. This is a 2 bedroomed apartment with ample parking. Ideal for access to the Yorkshire Moors or an easy walk into Whitby itself along the River Esk. Two Well behaved dogs are welcome.

During these troubled times, Sneaton Hall and Whitby are closed to visitors but we hope that things will improve before too long. Once we know more information I will put prices on here but in the meantime stay safe and keep well.
