The start of the Fairyland Trails at .

Pretty streams, amazing rocks and killer views are waiting to be explored in the heart of Mpumalanga’s Panorama region. A 9.72km walking and running trail and 9.93km mountain bike route enable people to explore this beautiful section of the Drakensberg escarpment.

Secure parking is offered at Graskop Gorge Lift Co, which also has clean restrooms and eateries. Maps for sale, with proceeds going to the conservancy.

Mac Mac Falls - The twin falls tumble 65m into the Mac-Mac river and is a declared National Monument.

This waterfall was originally a single stream, but gold miners blasted it with dynamite to divert the river in an attempt to work the rich gold-bearing reef over which it plunges.

The Falls is named for the Scottish miners who settled nearby during the gold rush of the 1880's - many of which had surnames starting with “Mac”

Mac Mac Falls in Sabie, Mpumalanga. Mpumalanga might be the land of the rising sun, but it's also most definitely a place of waterfalls

The Mac Mac Falls is 13 km from Sabie on the R532 road towards Graskop. The turnoff and parking area is at the curio stalls.
