FOR SHJ & AUH:

Effective 12 August, all UAE Residents (visa issued in any Emirate) returning to SHJ & AUH – UAE, are no longer require entry Permits issued by the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship (ICA).

However, the ICA - UAE has recommended all passengers traveling to SHJ & AUH are required upload their data - ID number, passport details, and nationality - on the https://uaeentry.ica.gov.ae to verify the authenticity of their travel documents. (Agent to ensure this requirement is met).

For residents visa holders with overstay can visit e-channels (echannels.moi.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/default.html #/filevalidity) and if visa status shows as Active, they can travel and they must keep a copy of printout to present at Check-in.

In case of expired visas you need to contact your sponsor or employers to contact SHJ/AUH immigration for extension of visas that letter needs to be presented at the time of check-in.

Note that this can be amended any time based on the instructions we are receiving.
