If you have been wanting to try some excellent Greek wines or just learn more about Greek wine, I suggest you head down to . Not only is the food awesome, they have a great Greek wine list with wines you won’t see anywhere else ! Try a XinoMavro with lamb , it is similar to a spicy Pinot noir . Their sommelier Drew is always available to help you make the right selection.

A quality piece of meat always deserves a high quality wine. 2015 Bordeaux paired with an amazing t bone steak with peppery mushroom sauce (my recipe) . Bordeaux reds and steak have long been a favourite pairing of mine as I find the wine enhances the meaty flavours (umami) and the meat will bring out the smoke in this particular type of wine.

I’ve been a big fan of since 2010. They always made an amazing Chardonnay and this Chardonnay that honours one of their founders Krystyna Tarasewicz who we sadly lost a few years ago, was no exception.2020 was a great vintage for the Niagara area so get them while you can!
