When you meet locals_Yeongju🍎

Located in Sudo-ri in Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Museom Village is a charming hanok village surrounded by water. Flowing down from Sobaeksan Mountain and Taebaeksan Mountain, Naeseongcheon Stream and Yeongjucheon Stream converge and loop around Museom Village, surrounding the village on three sides with water. This peninsula-like village is not only the center of traditional Korean culture, but also has a gorgeous natural landscape complete with a wide sandy riverside and a lush inland forest.

When you meet locals_Gangwondo🥔

Nongoldam-gil Street, formed in 1941, was transformed in 2010 with the "Nongoldam-gil Street" project by the Donghae Culture Center. With the help from the village seniors and local artists, the street became a canvas storytelling the history of Mukhohang Port and the lives of the villagers. There are also many cafes located along the street, perfect for taking a break to enjoy the view.

When you meet locals_Geoje🌾

On the way to Haegeumgang Village, one may encounter the fishing village of Dojangpo. On the left side of the village is Dojangpo Wharf, from where one can take a tour ferry to Oedo Island and Haegeumgang River. Looking up from here, one can see a hill covered in grass and overlooking the sea. This is Windy Hill.

When you meet locals_Geoje🫐

The cave “Geunpo”, 근포동굴 is located South of Geoje Island.
Geunpo cave includes 3 small caves next to each other, the biggest one is 3 meters wide and 3 meters high, about 20 meters long.
The cave was built by the Japanese in the 1940s. They exploited Koreans to dig these kinds of caves along the South coast of Korea to use them as war shelters or arsenals.
But for now, It's famous for best photo zone.

The Yongdam-Iho Coastal Road is where the sea and sky stretch out seemingly forever. It is close to Jeju International Airport, so it’s convenient to visit upon your arrival or just prior to your departure from the island. The drive is pleasant as you come across this beautifully painted, colorful rainbow backdrop to the coast.

Korea hidden gem_Cafe in Cheonan🍮
Once you enter in this cafe, you could feel relaxed and cozy. That's because a number of greenery and soft music make you soothed.
Thers is a space where some clothes and accessaries are located for sale. Which is a good match with the atmosphere of the cafe as well.

Korean hidden gems_The most hot apartment complex🌸
This fair-taleish views is a feature of this town.🧚‍♀️This is an apartment complex which consists of 62 buildings. Some of them are split level houses that are distinct from Korean style house in Korea.
People visit this place for photos due to beautiful views.
But sadly we can't see this beautiful scenery anymore because it's now under reconstruction.
We will keep it as a remembrance.🌠

5 Korea Tourism Awards 2020🏆
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea picked 5 tourist spots.
1. Mireuksa Temple Site - Iksan
Mireuksa was the largest Buddhist temple of the ancient Baekje Kingdom (18 BC-660 AD). The two main features of the Mireuksa Temple Site are the stone pagoda (Mireuksaji Seoktap) and the flagpole supports (Mireuksaji Dangganjiju)
2. Gaehangjang (Open Port Area) Street - Incheon
As the Incheon Port was opened in 1883, this is where one could feel the rich history and culture accumulated over 126 years. Formerly used by the Japanese consulate, the Jung-gu Office, the Incheon branch of Japan's 1st, 18th and 58th Bank and other modern historical architecture can be found intact here.
3. Surfyy Beach - Yangyang
Surfyy Beach is Korea’s first private beach dedicated to surfing. The beach offers an exotic sight with its three distinguished zones that span over the 1-kilometer long area. The three zones consist of the swimming zone for swimmers; and the beanbag zone and the hammock zone for maximum relaxation. Visitors have the freedom to enjoy all facilities offered by Surfyy Beach with the purchase of a Surfyy Pass.
4. Cheongpung Lake Cable Car - Jecheon
Jecheon, located in Chungcheong-do, tried to strengthen its status as a tourist destination with a focus on preserving nature and traditional culture rather than industrial development under the slogan "Slow City".
In particular, Cheongpung Lake boasts a beautiful view of the mountains and rivers, just like the term "Cheongpung (fresh breeze) Myeongwol (bright moon)", which refers to beautiful natural scenery. The view of nature from above in a cable car is breathtaking.
5.Yeongwol Y Park - Yeongwol
Yeongwol Y Park is a art venue where you can see modern art works, museum and art workshops. IT's one of the hottest places in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province.

For macaron lovers, I brought some information on Korean style macarons!
Firstly, have you heard of “ttung-carons” or “fatcarons”? These are form the Korean word for fat.
What’s difference between French original macarons and fatcarons is the cream filling. Korean version has a much thicker filling and the taste of the cream overwhelms that of the cookies.
Recently, the shape and ingredients of macarons diversifies. From uncut fresh fruit to chunks of chocolate and whole pieces of popular crackers, the flavors are as diverse as one can imagine as well. Garlic bread, corn cheese, truffles and pizza are just a few of the exotic flavors available.
So, have a try at diverse Korean version of macarons!
