If you’ve only ever gone to Disney World for your theme park travel…you’re missing out big time! Disneyland will ALWAYS have Disney World beat in these categories and here’s why…

Category 1: PHOTO PACKAGE PRICING

Why DL beats WDW?
At Disneyland, you have the option to add on Lightning Lane Multipass prior to your trip. This DL system allows for you to access shorter lines for many attractions AND INCLUDES the theme park photo package all for one price!

At Walt Disney World you will be forced to choose between (or add $ separately for each of the following): Lightning Lane Multipass for each day (shorter line system) Memory Maker Photo Package for one day, or Memory Maker Photo Package for your whole trip.

Bottom line… At Walt Disney World it isn’t very easy to budget for the magical inclusions (and enjoy experiencing both photos and short lines) on all of your park days as it is in Disneyland!

In you have to buy the photo package separately from Lightning Lane Multipass. And ESPECIALLY if you’re visiting the parks for more than one day…it’s hard to choose between budgeting for one, the other, or both.

The pricing on Lightning Lane Multipass in DISNEYLAND (which automatically includes the photo package for all of your park days with it)

Category 2: SUPERHERO FAN FUN

Why DL beats WDW?
Disneyland has 2 marvel rides, one marvel restaurant, and in general…a whole “land” dedicated to the Avengers that is called !

Walt Disney World only has a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction AND legally has constrictions with what superhero rides, etc. they can have in their FL theme park since Universal Orlando already had some superhero attractions in their park before Disney bought Marvel.

Why am I SPECIFICALLY a Second Star Wishes travel specialist?

📝When I went to apply to various agencies that I was considering being a part of…I was looking for 3 main things from them…

1️⃣ That it was a professional and well respected + accredited organization overall that travelers could trust with ANY kind of trip from a cruise to a roadtrip to an international getaway and beyond! Being IATAN or CLIA accredited (well regarded international travel accreditations for sellers of travel) was one way I looked for this to be shown.

2️⃣ That the agency was “earmarked”. Not all travel agencies that sell Disney Travel are required to be a part of this program. However, being earmarked basically shows to a consumer (or other agents) that you KNOW your stuff when you talk Disney travel and sell it AND you have consistent high sales to prove it (clients come back to you and refer other clients to you because you are someone who walks the walk and talks the talk). Disney gives this accreditation to select travel agencies yearly.

3️⃣ That I could grow and change as I continued my journey as an agent. Many agencies specialize in just one trip type. While this is great, I wanted the ability to show people the world was their oyster and not be “pigeonholed” to “just Disney” or “just Australia” or even “just Hawaii” (for example).

If I could plan my honeymoon all over again knowing what I know now as a travel professional and more experienced traveler overall…I would…

❤️Still stay at a resort that prioritizes and values romance and not settle for one that skimps on romantic vibes. Fairmont Orchid, I’m looking at you bestie! Thanks for the memories!

🔄Switch out paying more for a fancier room type to use that “upgrade” money for a beach photo session (to have professionally captured beach pics/honeymoon memories I can hang in our home as newlyweds)

🤿Ditch the week long snorkel rentals and instead go on a snorkel shopping date with my soon to be hubby before getting hitched and honeymooning! Yes, you need to use some luggage space for a snorkel kit. BUT, you’ll have much higher quality gear that you know fits and that you can use for future travel vs paying a rental fee and dealing with pickup/return times for subpar gear.
