If you have been wondering about a Disney cruise, here is some information about the Disney Wish.
*I purposely planned a short cruise to get better acquainted with the newest ship in the Disney fleet.

*Once paid in full, you'll get notifications with dates for uploading security information, what time you should arrive for embarkation, and preprinted luggage tags will be sent to your home.
*As you arrive, there is a greeter who welcomes you and
ask for your name so that you can be announced. *The Grand Atrium is beautiful. You are greeted with music, a waving princess, lights, and the beautiful Pocahontas tree that illuminates throughout the cruise. Make sure you visit one of the team members to get your Wish wand.
*You'll then head to the elevators and find your room depending on the time, or go explore the ship.
*We dropped things in our spacious room, which had ample seating and closet space. *Both the closet and safe have lights that come on when you open them. *There are two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have sinks and a shower mat. One contains the toilet and the other the shower/tub combo. *The towels are nice and fluffy and they provide you with: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. *Grab the robe from the closet and relax any chance you get. The fridge is a nice touch and has a different design compared to other ships. *Use the area under the bed to store your luggage.
*The food was good...from room service to the main dining rooms (MDR). *You'll rotate through each dining room and have the same servers each time. *Be prepared for family seating depending on the size of the party. *The dining service was fantastic!! They made sure that they tended to any need we had. They even cut my child's food for her. *The menu in each dining room reflects the theme of the night. *Don't skip desert!
*If you choose not to visit the MDR, there are plenty of other choices: the market buffet (everything-seafood, prime rib, lamb, chicken, pasta, veggies, tons of deserts, a cute section for the littles, salad station, deli, etc...), deck 11- pizza, burgers, BBQ, ice cream, tacos and bowls. *Please note, you are served regardless of the venue you choose and there are sinks available for washing your hands throughout the ship. *There is a nice selection of beverages included with the cruise and the cafes have plenty of affordable specialty drinks (think SB would the high prices).
*The entertainment did not disappoint. I loved the fireworks and the Aladin Musical. *There are are two movie theaters and a main screen on deck 11 that play current movies. *Note, there are bars by each entertainment venue and popcorn available for purchase.
*The Disney app is user friendly and gives you up to date scheduling throughout your cruise. The schedule can also be found on your television as well.
*There are plenty of chances to meet all the Disney characters and princesses. *Make sure you go to the open houses for each of the clubs offered to children/tweens/teens. There you can get extra information about what's offered and safety features in place.
*Though Disney cruises are for families, there are plenty of things for adults to do. Most venues become adult only after a certain hour. There are also designated areas just for adults on the ship and at Castaway Cay. *Enjoy the music, trivia, great cocktails, and silent dance parties with others who are ready for fun.
*You've got to at least ride the Aquamouse once, do the Incredicourse (need socks), and shoot some hoops when you get a chance.
*The spa is awesome. Check into a pass and get a little exercise in the gym.

Loved: size of room and bathroom, cleanliness throughout, service and friendliness of all crew members, character meet and greets, entertainment venues, room service, pop/soda, juices, and flavored water ncluded, and you know exactly where your gratuities are going. Fireworks!

Didn't care for: the safety briefing. It could have been a check in and video in the room. No luggage mat or rack in the room.

Vegas, part 2. Had an excellent time staying at NY NY, another MGM property. It too, is centrally located and close to many attractions on the strip. The rooms were big, the pool was a nice size and offered free chairs for lounging, and there were many restaurants on property. The Hershey store is attached and there is a Hello Kitty pop up right outside. The fountains are beautiful at night and bring serenity during the day. The Mad Apple show, arcade, and roller coaster are all available if you're looking for something fun. The casino was nice, but the faint smell of smoke was not a pleasant one, though nothing to keep me away.

Quick getaway to see Usher-My Way concert at Dolby Live @ Park MGM. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and Park is close to all you need. The drinks from the bars are strong and pools are plenty. For you Starbucks fans, there is one on property along with restaurants, clubs, and Eataly. I enjoyed On The Record (club) because the music was hype and the place is a vibe! Park is close to it's other sister properties, MGM Grand and Aria. Right across the "walkway" you'll find the Coke and M&M store along with the Hard Rock (don't miss $5 happy hour), Ross, Marshall's, an ABC store and a Walgreens. So, if you forget anything or need something, you're covered. If you want, feel free to visit the Food Court for a quick bite or something simple. There's also the chicken place, The Crack Shack, next door to Park. The prices are reasonable for Vegas. Oh, and don't forget to visit Haus of Gaga while at the resort...I'm amazed at how she was able to walk in those shoes! Just remember, there is no fridge in the room, so room temperature water it is!

The Tampa area is a great place to visit. Museums, cruise ports, outdoor recreation, food, open areas to chill, shopping, history, scenic views, aquariums, amusement parks, water attractions, and local beaches...it's all there! Not to mention, all within an hour or two from major Florida attractions.

From the sky to the river and every place in between, Egypt 🇪🇬 was fantastic! We visited the Karnak Temples and it happened to be Tourism Day. The performances were great and the governor even asked me to help plant a tree that was being added to the grounds. I also got some great shots from above! Part 2

Egypt 🇪🇬 was amazing! There were so many wonders to marvel at and make you realize how intelligent the Egyptians were. We had busy days filled with tons of information and learning. We had a few guides, but Sam was with us the longest and he was a wealth of knowledge. If Egypt is on your list, let me know! Here are the first set of pictures.
