I haven't been posting much on the channel lately. But I will be trying to slowly keeping up with the videos. I recently recorded bits of our week here in Albuquerque, New Mexico! Check it out the video and let me know what you think :)

Hi Guys,

As you probably know, we left China! I will explain a little more about the reasons that brought us to the USA in future videos.
For now, I just want to share with you our last day in China =)
We had a 10 hours layover in Xiamen, while we were there, we tried to explore the best parts of it. Xiamen was unbelievably beautiful, I was not expecting Xiamen to be so neat.

Hellooo👋
There is a new vlog up! On labor day we visited an old Chinese prison in Hefei, which is now a modern art district.
Quite a different place that we are used to visit in China.
We also got to have lunch with Bing's family in a traditional Anhui restaurant.

Things in China are very strict lately, wherever we go, we have to be very careful to not go to an area marked as high risk area, otherwise our health code becomes yellow and we cannot do absolutely anything here.
So, feeling very blessed and grateful for our moments outdoors. 🙏

We were back to Shanghai a few weeks ago ( luckily just before the lockdown).
This time we tried the Brazilian barbecue restaurant that I always wanted to go, and after 4 years of China I finally got to go there.

It is been a while. I've catching up with some work, less time for editing these days, but I am still recording. One of these days I had some time and decided to spend it in the kitchen making a Brazilian street food that I miss so much, coxinhas. It definitely helps to not miss home so much!

I still have a lot of footage from our travel in Yixing. We saw many beautiful places ( feel so grateful for it🙏), but one of the highlights was that we spent the night in the car, something that we have never done before, it was not comfortable of course, but waking up for such a stunning sunrise paid off. 😄

Last week we went for a short traveling outside Nanjing. We visited a city called Yixing, which is in between shanghai and Nanjing. There are so many beautiful mountains and temples in this city and the highlight was definitely the black rice, it is a must have when traveling to Yixing. 😄

Hello Guys ~ 👋

I want to introduce you my new toy that I got for last Christmas/birthday. The drone DJI mini 2 fly combo! As this is our first drone ever, we struggled a bit to make it fly, (haha) but thanks to our holy father.....google, as always making things easier to learn.

It has been a great experience so far, we loved the footage quality, the material and how light it is... I hope you guys enjoy!😉

Hi Guys ~👋

On the Christmas week we went to Hefei which is a city in Anhui province and the place where my husband grew up. We hiked a beautiful mountain that was the residence of the king cow in China.They also say this is the closest mountain to heaven in Hefei.

It was tiring, but we had such an amazing view on the top that made every pain on my calves worth it!

Hi Guys ~👋

Last week we did a little bit less travelling and had a more chilled back kind of week.
We needed to run some errands and prepare a little for Christmas, so we went to Sam’s Club to purchase a few items for our Christmas hot pot at Bing’s family house.

I love roaming around the supermarket, I could spend hours and slowly go through the items. I usually get there with a short list of just a couple of items and leave with many more than I planned, my husband on the other hand is the opposite, he does not like grocery shopping!

I am a little late on my Friday's post, and my excuse is that I recently turned 30 and I am lucky enough ( or the opposite) to be born on Christmas eve!

Hey Guys, 👋

Last week we planned to visit a park in Nanjing but we got caught in bad weather and decided to come back.
We ended up spending the afternoon indoors with a movie and some snacks and later we went for a massage.

Have you guys ever done Chinese massage? It can be quite interesting, not to say painful. hahaha ( at least for me)
I tried Chinese herbs and ginger on m feet while my husband tried salt with alcohol to scrub his. I was feeling a little uncomfortable with the massage, but it was nice to see my feet clean and warm in the end. 😄🌿

A new vlog is up!

Last week we had great fun visiting a Chinese Village.
I often find it easier to explore the places we searched, because you know exactly where to go, and what to see, but sometimes the unexpected feels good too.
It is nice to be in a different place, and just walk not really knowing where you are going next.

That's what happened to us last week when we couldn't get to the place we had planned, we were upset at first and didn't know what to do.
We ended up having a great day at Sheshan Village, in Nanjing! 😄🌿

Hello ~ 👋

New video is up!

We explored a near by province this time, Anhui! It is also one of the main destinations for tourists in China. There are many beautiful things to see in this province.
Our goal was to visit the city Xuan Cheng, very popular place for its poets, tea plantations and inventions. It is the origin of many historical figures in China!

The hike was quite tiring because we've chosen the long way.
Long but still beautiful and fun all the way up! I hope we get to explore more of Anhui in the future. 😄🌿

Hello guys ~👋

There is a new video up!

This time we visited a park that we used to hike very often, which is Zhong Mountain.

This park is quite big and the most popular spot visited in the park by tourists is the purple mountain and the ZhongShan Mausoleum, and this time we went to the east side of the park, less popular for tourists, but yay..... it is free!
It is still very beautiful, Mila was very happy with the wide space for running.

Our visit there was quite fast because we had some errands to run at the mall, but we plan to go back and spend more time at this stunning place!

Last week we visited a magnificent mountain in the south part of Nanjing. Translating it from the Chinese the place is called the mountain of no desires, I could not understand why this name until I visited the place, I guess the mountain is so beautiful that you loose your thoughts in it... Unfortunately the most beautiful temple I wanted to visit was closed for visitors, but we got to see beautiful views...

✨It is always a good day to have a good day! ✨

I literally had to push myself out of the house for this trip. I guess exhaustion kind of hit me these days, but I knew I would regret not going by the end of the day. Seeing new places is also about making an effort~

Last week we visited Luhe which is one of 11 districts in Nanjing, China. We explored a Buddhist temple, a beautiful forest, had delicious local food, and also went for a massage. Can you imagine if I had missed out all that? 😅

✨It’s all about making TIME✨

Before I always used to wait for the perfect time to travel. I used to turn down every opportunity I had to have a day out. Last week, I almost did the same thing and started creating excuses to not go on this trip. I had to consciously stop myself from thinking about the things that worries me and push myself out of the house. Glad I did it~

We visited a park called Tangshan in Nanjing, just one hour from the city center. And woow… I can’t believe I’ve been here for so long and never been there. Very few places I visited before gives me that feeling of “ I want to come back here” and Tangshan Park is one of them.

✨Fill your life with experiences, not things ✨

I’ve been living in Nanjing for four years now and since I got here, I’ve been so focused on finishing my studies or work-related things. I had very little time to appreciate the place where I live, and I am pretty sure I am not the only one. I mean… can we talk about how many of us barely know the place where we live? But it is never too late, I am determined to change that!

Last week, we visited a beautiful lake in the countryside of Nanjing called Nan Shan Lake. It is surrounded by nature, fresh air and beautiful homes. It is a perfect getaway from the city!

Here is a short snap what this day in Nan Shan lake was like and I hope this video works as a reminder to others to go and explore where they live… I am confident, there are plenty of beautiful stuff to see out there!
