StardustMe latest mission patch for our SD-2 mission due to launch 7:46 am, Wednesday 8th November NZ Time.

This time around we had the generous input from the children of one of our customer families going into this design and naming; you may recognize the shape of Hawkes Bay’s Te Mata Peak, and of course, the Matariki constellation of stars. The title 'Stars of Calm" came from the peaceful journey amongst the stars.

It was a privilege to make the finals of the recent HB Export Awards hosted in Hawkes Bay recently. Although StardustMe didn’t win our section of Excellence in Innovation, we were ‘over the moon’ and proud to support Pultron Composites and Wisewool from Tairawhiti that won their sections and Anna Holdsworth finalist for Inspiring Women in export.

Jason Gunn was an outstanding host and kept us laughing throughout the whole evening and a special thanks to Amanda Liddle for arranging such an amazing event!

Well its been a long wait and many many hurdles to work through over the last 5 years and many early mornings with false starts but today at 5.15am StardustMe sent up it's first rocket with Space X from Vandenberg space station in Los Angeles and made history.

There are so many mixed emotions. But most importantly, we would like to acknowledge the five families that launched with us and express a huge amount of gratitude to all that helped us on this journey - you know who who you are and we are eternally thankful.
