Update on Dixsealand Delight after Milton. By God's hand, the house has made it through both hurricanes without any major damage, just a LOT of outside clean-up. We have been on the island all week and have met so many neighbors and experienced so many coming together to help each other rebuild our beautiful island! We are Pictures are of the house prepped after Helene before Milton and then today. It was a sunny beautiful day on the island today! Please continue to keep those affected by the hurricanes from FL to NC in your thoughts and prayers.

I'll start by saying thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for the West Coast of FL over the past 2 weeks. There has been a lot of devastation with 2 hurricanes hitting so close together. We are headed back to AMI to access the damage from Milton. As far as we know Dixsealand Delight made it through this 2nd time with minor issues. So many of our neighbors on the island have lost everything. Please continue to help where you can from FL to NC. We will continue to help our neighbors and friends on AMI rebuild!

UPDATE: First, please continue to pray and help however you feel led for everyone affected by this hurricane. From FL to North Carolina and in between. Second, we just got confirmation that our house is DRY. Praise God!!! The part of the island it is on and south was hit the hardest. Bradenton Beach is still closed and our neighbors had to walk to get to the houses. There is a LOT of clean up outside and neighbors needing help so we will spend time helping to do those things. Dixsealand Delight might have made it through this without flooding, but so many others did not. Again, continue to pray and help as you can!

Thank you to all who have reached out to check in about AMI. Please keep everyone on the West Coast of FL and the entire path of the hurricane in your thoughts and prayers. We don't have any specific information on our home yet, but we do know the island is covered in sand and there is substantial damage everywhere. No one but law enforcement has been allowed back on. We do have a few pictures neighbors that stayed sent us. We know the house is still standing. We just don't know about damage and water breach.

Update #2: we got to the house today and all is well! We have power and water! Some of the island is still working on getting power back. We walked the 5min walk from the house to Smoqehouse- AMI and had lunch. We will be supporting local as much as we can, and frequenting those places donating to hurricane Ian relief. We still ask everyone to continue praying for those south of AMI and across FL dealing with the aftermath of Ian. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Update: our neighbor said everything looks fine at the house. It is a mess debri wise. Still no water or power on the island. Continued prayers for those dealing with much more than a debri mess. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Still waiting for eyes on DixSEAland Delight. Continued prayers for those south of the island. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
