after the celling colipase at pontins in Brean and then even more bad reviews to the local papers this year this camp might be on its way out the locals belive that a takeover bid is on its way soon by two big hoilday giants in brean who are both next door
Waren Farm and Holiday Resort Unity whio also own the big fair next door

Holimarine Burnham on Sea Holiday Village

This centre was opened by Holimarine in 1963 and soon gained a high reputation for the quality of it's chalets and apartments. Facilities included a huge outdoor pool, golf course and even a fishing lake.

Holimarine went out of business in 1995 and this site (along with two other Holimarine parks at Hopton and New Quay) were sold to Bourne Leisure and all three were rebranded as British Holidays parks. When Bourne acquired the leisure assets of Rank the three parks were rebranded yet again as Haven and still retain that today.

The Burnham site now looks almost unrecognisable as all the chalets/apartments have been demolished and replaced with wall-to-wall caravans. Even the lake and the old outdoor pool have been filled in.
