Growing up Ghetto: Why Street money scares me.

I remember my childhood friend started selling w**d when we were in 8th grade. I wanted that money So bad. I remember my first real job at McDonald’s my tenth grade year and I remember seeing my friend after two years again. Nice car, herringbone chain with the gold initial, fine ass girl that had to be college age.

Fast forward a few weeks later and I’m chillin with him on his mom’s porch. He’s telling me how he ain’t working for nobody, this all his money and he ain’t gotta answer to nobody.

2.9 days later, he’s getting beat up on the side of his moms house because he was short in the money.

How did I get caught up in that s**t?
