May this season bring you health, joy and love.
May your Christmas be filled with warmth and happiness.

I am very blessed to have so many wonderful and loving people in my life, this is the greatest gift of all for me.

To My Yoga Community- you all give me opportunities to teach you and learn from you every day. I am thankful for your trust , your constant attendance and all the laughs and sorrows that we share. So many friendships have been made and you constantly bring light and insight into my life. To all who bring me mushrooms and plants found during your walks- thank you so much.

Those who buy my homemade and natural products, and herbal remedies, you are the reason for my creativity.
Hope they keep you healthy and beautiful and restore balance in your life when needed 🍄🍄🍄🍄

Those who have been supporting me on my journey of becoming Clinical Herbalist (still few years of studying ahead of me), thank you for attending my workshops and trusting in me.
I am also learning from you all.
I feel such deep gratitude to all my teachers who are here to support me.

One of my first teacher was my beautiful grandmother. She sadly passed away last year. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about her and miss her terribly.
She tought me so much, her kindness and quiet presence was always the light in my life. Her protective light is still there, I feel it every day.
She instilled in me the love of plants when I was a little girl. And my beautiful grandfather, the love of mushrooms 🍄‍🟫

To all of you who have been coming to my Ecotours, it’s been a blast. These are the wonderful adventures I look forward to every month. So much work is done behind the scenes at the moment and we will greet the new season with more fun and excitement than ever!!!
To those, who help with the tours behind the scenes - a huge thank you.
Fiona- you enhance the whole experience with your beautiful and creative delights and I am very fortunate to have you working at Terroir & Wild Ecotours as our Chef.
I hope to see you all in the Wild Next Year! 🍄🌱

I am also very fortunate to be the President of La Chaine des Rottiseurs in Nova Scotia- a role that I am very proud of.
Another gift, that has fallen into my life unexpectedly.

To all my amazing family and friends- your constant love, friendship and support, make me a better person.

Wishing you peaceful time with the hope that New Year will also bring much needed peace and healing around the world.

The New Year will begin very soon, and like seeds planted deep in the earth, we will rise with renewed energy to dance the Sunlight again!!!

You've grown roots and found strength in them
that no one thought you had.
You have become stronger and more beautiful,
full of life giving qualities.
You have learned to take all the negativity around you,
and turn it into oxygen for easy breathing.
A host of wild creatures live inside you,
and you call them stories.
A variety of beautiful birds nest inside your mind,
and you call them memories.
You have become an incredible self sustaining thing of epic proportions.
And you should be so proud of yourself,
of how far you have come from the seeds of who you used to be.

Preparations are underway for our next Ecotour- Sunday September 22nd.

We still have few spaces left, so join us for few hours of fun, adventure, education and amazing lunch after the tour.

We will have black trumpets and maitake on the menu and plenty of other yummy dishes.

We will also have Chaga and Rosehip lemonade and Rosehip power balls!

Join us for our next Ecotour on Sunday September 22nd.
We will forage for mushrooms, learn about medicinal plants and herbs and seaweed.

You will be treated to a delicious lunch after the tour.

Our menu for Sunday:

-Black Trumpet Mushroom and Caramelized Garlic Goat Cheese Tart
- Roasted Seasonal vegetables with Herb infused vinegar
-peaches & tomatoes with bocconcini and balsamic Vinegar
-rosemary, walnut & apricot focaccia
-Bourguignon Soup with Maitake Mushrooms
- Pumpkin & Chocolate Cookies
-Olive Oil Apple Cake with Maple Syrup Frosting

What do we do with Burdock Seeds?

While we are patiently awaiting the return of Spring, we should appreciate the beauty of each season. When the world feels heavy outside, remember, there is so much healing in nature, your spirit can renew and you can find much needed restoration and peace while walking through the woods. You can find so much beauty, light and love when you get quiet. I have been enjoying the quieter months of the winter, restoring my energy and preparing for our new season of Ecotourism. I have started another Herbal Course- a step closer to become a Clinical herbalist, enjoying and loving all I am learning. I have also been working on setting up a shop on my website, so those who are not local, can purchase our beautiful herbal and mushroom products. Our Ecotours this year will be filled with new adventures, plenty of fun (as always), new knowledge and wonderful gourmet foods created by Fiona from Molotov Cuisine. Each month different, fresh and of course seasonal. Every Ecotour is different and inspired by what nature has to offer us each month. Fiona is travelling around Asia, also learning and coming up with new, creative ideas for exciting menus. Last but not least I am so pleased to announce that we are now taking bookings for our first Ecotour this year- April 14th 2024. For details contact me on 902-402-8819.
