The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025. The Disney Destiny, Disney Cruise Line’s new heroes and villains-inspired ship, is roaring to life in late 2025, and we just can’t wait to be king … and set sail!

Like all Disney Cruise Line ships, the Disney Destiny will feature imaginative restaurants where guests can interact with Disney stories in exciting ways … including the debut of a brand-new family dining experience exclusive to this ship.

The iconic songs and legendary moments of “The Lion King” will come to life at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a first-of-its-kind dining experience celebrating the renowned music from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film that continues to transcend generations.

The enchanting venue will be inspired by the African savanna, with unique depictions of animals and nature brought to life through lighting and special effects. The back wall will be lined with large windows that transform from stunning sunrises to enchanting sunsets throughout the meal, while the center of the restaurant will have tiered risers that mimic the look of African drums.

🌊 Happy belated National Water Park Day 🌊 to the best water park in the universe, Universal Volcano Bay! 🌋🗿

What makes Universal Volcano Bay so unique? Krakatau Volcano for one!
Krakatau Volcano, the centerpiece of Universal's Volcano Bay water park, is unique for several reasons:

- The Krakatau Volcano stands at an impressive 200 feet tall, making it a dominant and visually striking feature of the park.
- Unlike many other artificial mountains in water parks, Krakatau is fully explorable. -
- Guests can experience the volcano from various perspectives, including: riding slides that spiral through its interior, floating through it on lazy rivers and exploring its interior to meet Vol, an interactive character.
-It houses several thrilling water slides, including three body slides that start from its summit. It features the Krakatau Water Coaster, which weaves through the volcano's rockwork.
-The volcano produces special effects like water eruptions, steam, and geysers from its cauldron.
-The volcano contributes significantly to the park's immersive Polynesian theme.
- During the day, large waterfalls flow over its front, creating a spectacular visual effect.
- The volcano is home to the Ko'okiri Body Plunge, which stands at 125 feet.
Krakatau Volcano often features special lighting effects at night, including simulated lava flows, enhancing the park's atmosphere after dark.
Another fun fact is that Volcano Bay does often reach capacity over the summer so on-site guests have a big advantage with EPA access 30 minutes before the park officially opens!

Just revealed! Room details for the new Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

The new 10-story tower will feature a variety of room types, each brimming with original artwork inspired by the Polynesian Islands, wayfinding and the natural elements – earth, water, wind and sky. Each guest room will also feature stunning custom pieces inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Moana. We are loving the layout and decor of these fabulous new villas!

The villas will be available for stays starting December 17, 2024 and bookings for the for Annual Passholders open on June 5 and the general public on June 6.
