So what started out as a fully planned week of vacation in Tennessee beginning with cleetus and cars for Labor Day weekend ended abruptly when we got to Bristol Motor Speedway and lost all our 12V power in the motorhome. Ninety degree weather with no interior lights or running water, no fridge but thankfully the AC worked while plugged in. After a quick trip to Walmart for baby wipes, lots of bottled water and multiple coolers, we were able to get through the weekend and enjoyed the Bristol event. Cancelled all the Tennessee camping reservations for the week for the Labor Day ride home. Tyler spent a day and a half getting “Roy” back on his feet. Wednesday we regrouped and headed northeast.

The culprit…. A 6 gauge wire running from the RV batteries in the back to the panel in the front had rubbed against the frame.

Mother Nature cooperated for an awesome spontaneous overnight to Raystown. Boat hasn’t been out in nearly 5 years (due to engine repairs & upgrades) and it did great! 🛥 🌞💦
