Can’t wait to go on the 1st Annual Around The Firepit group cruise next year. Thank you Ashley Foley Travels for booking this trip for the girls and I. Our first Royal Cruise was last year and they haven’t stopped talking about Perfect Day at Coco Cay ever since. Check the comments for info on how to get a quote.

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

As of January 1 2024, I will no longer be a travel planner with Goldgell Getaways. I was presented with an opportunity to continue working in the travel industry for an amazing company that I couldn’t turn down.

I have met some amazing people these last 4 years and learned so much. Going forward I will use this page to document travels with my daughters and my golf adventures to different courses.

Thank you to my friends, family and clients that have supported me and my business.

2 things I always need when going to any theme park is the 18V+ clamp fan and portable power source.

While at today, I am able to keep my phone charged to check wait times, make last minute dining reservations and most importantly..find the nearest restroom for when my kids say “I have to go potty” within 10 minutes of previously asking them.

The fan works better than any other stroller fan to keep you cool during the brutal Florida heat.

I wish I could go back to this time last year when we were on the ✈️ to 🇮🇪. My oldest slept from from 10 min after takeoff until 30 min before we landed. My youngest slept after dinner was served until about an hour before landing.

⭐️Disney dining plans are coming back
Disney Resort hotel Guests who purchase a vacation package starting with stays beginning Jan. 9, 2024, will have the option to add the Disney Quick Service Dining
Plan or the Disney Dining Plan.

⭐️More park time for Disney Resort hotel Guests Early theme park entry (for all Disney Resort hotel Guests) and extended evening hours (for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels and Disney Deluxe Villas will continue through 2024.

⭐️Plan ahead with Disney Genie+ service

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Returns to Walt Disney World in 2022! This fan-favorite holiday party will return on 24 select nights from November 8 – December 22, 2022.

According to Disney Parks Blog, "Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are limited and may be purchased online beginning July 7, 2022. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing tickets as early as June 30, 2022. Ticket prices will range from $149 – $199 per person."

Event dates:
*November: 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27, 29
*December: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22

Our first 3 days in Ireland were spent in Dublin. On Day 1, we rode the Hop On Hop Off (HOHO) bus around the city and did some shopping on Grafton St. To our surprise we found a three story Disney store and just had to walk around inside of it.

On Day 2, I visited the museum, viewed the Jeanie Johnston Tallship and walked around exploring Trinity College. Afterwards I hoped back on the HOHO to go to , which teaches about the Vikings and Medieval Dublin. Next up was a tour of the distillery, where I was able to pour and label my own bottle of Black Barrel Cask Strength (which I can’t wait to sample!).

Day 3, our final day in the city, included a tour of the famous and then relaxing at the hotel before packing our bags to go to on to our next adventure, the city of Cork!

A few days ago we finally embarked on our family vacation to Ireland that was delayed for 2 years. While checking in at Tampa, I had the pleasure of meeting a WWII vet from the Pacific Theater who was on his way to Normandy for a D-Day celebration.

While waiting at our gate, I happened to catch the end of the recognition that Delta gave him for his service. After taking off from Tampa, I was able to clearly see Philadelphia, Newark and NYC from 35k feet before landing in Boston.

As we watched the plane we were taking to Dublin pull into the gate, we witnessed a fallen soldier being returned home to their family.

We then took off at night from Boston and arrived in Dublin the next morning.
