Portugal’s identity is infused with incredible food, and one of the best dishes is for sure the Cataplana de Marisco! 🦐🍋

It is a traditional Portuguese stew made with a variety of fresh seafood, such as clams, shrimp, and fish, cooked in a distinctive clam-shaped copper pot called a “cataplana.”

This special pot locks in all those delicious flavors, creating a fragrant, mouthwatering experience. Often combined with tomatoes, onions, garlic, and white wine, this dish is a must-try for anyone exploring the Algarvian cuisine.

While the classic version is all about seafood, the chicken and veggie cataplanas are just as irresistible!
