Hemis Monastery - Hemis is a 17th century Buddhist shrine which was re-established in 1672. This famous monastery in Ladakh is of the Drukpa Lineage of Buddhism. The gompa near Leh has a museum that houses a wide collection of Tibetan books, Thangkas, gold statues and Stupas embedded with precious stones, weapons, carriers, and even a stuffed vulture pup.
One of the beauty and vibe in Leh. Do add this place to your bucket list on the way to Pangong Lake.
In a continuous search for peace and happiness, I met Maitreya, who is a Bodhisattva and prophesied to appear on Earth, achieve complete Enlightenment, and teach the Dharma. The arrival of Maitreya is prophesied to occur during an era when the teachings of Gautama Buddha have been forgotten by most of the Terrestrial World.
Location: Thiksey Monestary, Ladakh.
Your destiny is written, when I visit such places with hefty feelings. I rearrange and connect the Dots.
Fotu La Pass - One of the highest passes in the Land of Hight Passes (Ladakh) - on the way to Kargil this pleace has a beauty and peace which one can hardly explain into words. Located at an altitude of 4,108 meters on the way from Heniskot to Lamayuru.

Well – well; the sad minutes are moving,
Though loaded with trouble and pain;
And some time the loved and the loving
Shall meet on the mountains again.........
Because everyone is running, I thought of catching my breath 😉 -
Leh Palace - In the early fifteenth century, Dragpa Bumdey, King of Ladakh, built the first fortifications in Leh as well as a small royal residence along a mountain ridge high above the town. The king also founded three Buddhist temples, two within the old town walls, and the other by the palace on the peak of Tsemo, a nearby mountain. At the turn of the seventeenth century, Leh became a royal capital of the Himalayan Kingdom of Ladakh, which at the time ruled over most of western Tibet. It was at this time that King Senge Namgyal built Leh Palace, also known as Lachen Palkar Palace.
The massive nine-story stone structure lies at the base of the Tsemo ridge and towers over the old town. It was designed in the Tibetan style that was later made famous by Potala Palace in Lhasa. King Senge Namgyal also constructed massive rammed earth walls around the original residential area of the old town. Lachen Palkar Palace was abandoned in the mid-nineteenth century after the royal family left Leh following the Dogra invasion. Despite years of decay, the historic character of Leh old town has remained largely intact.

Be Patient, everything comes to you in the right Moment ❤️ - Buddha.
Added another monastery to my Executed Travel list, which is known as "Thiksey Monestary".
Thiksey Monastery is the largest gompa in central Ladakh and it is famous for Maitreya Temple which was installed to commemorate the visit of the 14th Dalai Lama to this monastery in 1970. The temple has a 15m tall statue of Maitreya Buddha, which is the largest statue in Ladakh covering two-storeys of the building.
If you get the opportunity to visit - Don't miss it.

YOUR 20s are your "SELFISH" year. It's a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish, with your time and all the aspects of you. Tinker with s**t, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little and never touch the ground. ❤️

If we are always arriving and departing, it is true that we are eternally anchored. One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.
Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it 😉

You live in Delhi/Gurgaon? Have you explored the peace of Aravali yet?
This is the place I go when I need a break from people, traffic and honks ❤️. All you get to see here is no network, no one having a discussion, mud trials, a view of the city with a sunrise or sunset from a temple, peacocks and birds chirping around and mosquitos if u stay long😂.
Bolo khaan chalna hai ?😂
Well I always prefer approaching Local transport when travelling solo or with friends, as it gives you a lot of new experience and gives you a chance to interact with real gems of the place you are travelling to. The best part which every traveller knows and is important is that it saves a hell of a lot money which can be used to cover another beautiful location or to feed needy❤️
What do you prefer Public transport or Luxurious transport? tell me in the comments 🙂
On my way to unknown ventures ❤️
And then there is the most dangerous risk of all — the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later.”....❤️

Everyone starts at the beginning; getting good at something starts with trying ❤️......so keep trying ..
Goa, one of the beautiful destinations which is listed in almost every Indian traveller's list. However, the weather makes you decide to travel to such places.....Monsoon is a time when most of the places are not open but Trust me....if you are a traveller, then this can be the best time to say bye to heat waves .... a pleasant weather, a good company with a good accomodation is all you need to make it memorable. During Monsoons, goa has Less crowd, it is Cheaper, one can enjoy Goan Cuisine at reasonable prices and can enjoy the market at best. South Goa is another gem if you need peace ...and expecting beauty from nature. North goa still gives a good vibe...Less crowded beach and less prices to enjoy a good time in shaks.
They say that the best things take time..... That's why I am always late 🤭
