Why the name Ski Retreat?

When I was in 7th grade, friends invited me to attend a youth ski retreat with a local church. It was a great weekend filled with fun and fellowship. It was then that I made the decision to follow the Lord. “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13) Ski Retreat was something I looked forward to each year. It was a time to recharge, renew, and refocus. Most importantly, it was a time to grow closer to God.

When my husband and I were blessed with the opportunity to purchase a floating home it was our desire to have a place where friends and families could retreat and recharge while growing closer to the Lord. Ski Retreat was the perfect name! We hope you enjoy Ski Retreat and the memories made during your stay for many years to come.
