Majestic Bat Hawk spotted during our day tour excursion in .

Inactive during the day, often perching in trees or on vantage points. They typically hunt at dawn and dusk and occasionally continue into the night if there is sufficient light. You can most reliably spot them near large bat roosts in forested areas, although they can also be seen flying over open forests, fields, and the outskirts of habitation.

Are you in Dar es Salaam with an extra day to add your lifer list? Join us today for a birding day tour and explore some incredible sightings!

Coffee seedlings in a nursery!

Coffee production is an important part of Tanzania's economy because it is the country's main export crop. Tanzanian output averages between 30,000 and 40,000 metric tons per year, with Arabica accounting for roughly 70% and Robusta accounting for 30%.

If you are in Mbeya, Songwe, or Northern Tanzania, please contact us at hello [at] nungunungu dot com to arrange a coffee tour.
