Happy Mothers Day!!!

I know this day can me hard for many and I don’t want to be insensitive but I also want to share the fact that I LOVE being a mom, especially a Disney Runner Mom!

Taking up running, after I became a mama was probably the BEST thing I ever did for myself!

Not only does it do wonders for my mental and physical health, it helps me show my son accomplishing something difficult is possible with a lot of hard work and dedication!

It also has helped us fall in LOVE with Disney World!

Our first trip as a family happened because I had learned of and wanted to run Princess Weekend. Timing didn’t work out for a race that first trip but that’s okay because instead we were able to enjoy the parks and get bit by the Disney Bug! It was the following year that I participated in Wine and Dine Weekend and got bit by the RunDisney Bug! 😜

All this to say…I LOVE Disney! I LOVE Running! I LOVE being a Mom! And I LOVE that they all come together so nicely! 🥰

Happy Cinco de Mayo Friends!!! 🇲🇽

Boy do I wish I could be in the Mexico pavilion today! It seriously has some of my all time favorite foods and drinks!

I could literally eat Mexican food every day of the week so it really should come as NO surprise that I would LOVE this holiday and this pavilion!

And for the record…we usually end in Mexico because chances are, that’s where we’re eating dinner. 👍🏼

Tonight’s menu in my humble abode…fajitas, margaritas and yes, I’m pretty sure we’ll turn Coco on today as well!

May the Fourth be with you young padawan! Although, now that you have your lightsaber does that make you a Jedi??? I don’t these things…this mama has learned a LOT about Star Wars and visiting Batuu has definitely helped but this kid…he’s like a Star Wars encyclopedia!

It’s National Something on a Stick Day (maybe the MOST random of these these National days 🤷🏽‍♀️) but it reminded me of this fun snack from Marathon Weekend!

“Popcorn” Chicken!

Chicken nugs tossed in a sriracha honey sauce on a stick that sat in a bucket of popcorn!

Not sure where the idea came from but definitely interesting. 😁

Curious to know if any of you have seen this snack outside of a event???

Just over here dreaming of Mickey Waffles so thought I’d share this giant one I devoured after the 5k back in January. 🤤

I tell you what, Disney has mastered the art of consistently making a delicious Mickey Waffle! It doesn’t matter where or what size, that dang waffle is always delicious and always seems to hit the spot!

We’ve got our own Mickey Waffle maker here at home but without that recipe, they’re fun but just not the same.

Staying on Batuu today for our post! 😋

This here snack is one that seems to be to one of those foods you either LOVE or do NOT care for (felt like hate was too strong a word 😄).

We are most definitely on team LOVE! 🤤

The popcorn is a colorful blend sweet AND spicy flavors! Some people (including us) enjoy the flavor combo, others think it’s too weird! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Going to Epcot after completing the D***y Challenge was a struggle but you know what helped???

Taking the boat INSIDE World Showcase! 🙌🏼

Did you realize you could do this???

If you’re trying to drink around the world or hit up every country that may not be the tip for you but if you are STRUGGLING because you just 48.6 miles (you know, just for example 😜) then hopping on the boat and saving yourself a few hundred steps may be helpful!

You can hop in the FriendShip Launch in Mexico, Germany, Morocco, or Canada. And they run every 15 minutes.

On this National Learn About Butterflies Day I thought I’d share a GREAT spot to do so while visiting Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival! 🦋

In between The Land and The Imagination Pavilion you’ll find ‘Bambi’s Butterfly House’.

Inside you’ll be able to view a kaleidoscope of butterflies up close, in all their extraordinary color. Learn about the butterfly life cycle and maybe even see one emerge from its chrysalis!

One idea I really liked was idea of playing your own butterfly habitat at home! I may not have the greenest green thumb but I sure as heck try and I LOVE it when my plants bring in the butterflies! 🥰

Even if you have no interest in learning anything, it’s still a REALLY neat spot to visit and watch all butterflies fly around!

This whole losing an hour this morning has me thinking about how difficult it would’ve been for me to get up and rope drop the parks and it got me thinking of a tip that I haven’t shared before…

One of the BEST times to ride rides is during or after the fireworks! 🤩

If you’ve seen the fireworks before or just have no interest in watching them, the rides are all still running and the lines are SO short! 🙌🏼

Riding things in Tomorrowland like the PeopleMover or Astro Orbiter are fun during the fireworks as you get a really cool view of the show!

Another FANTASTIC time is after the fireworks!

It feels weird going against the giant crowd trying to get out of the park but it’s worth it! 😄

Typically, the park is still open after fireworks for about an hour (check your My Disney Experience App to make sure you have the correct time).

You are allowed to get into any line for an attraction up to park close. As long as your in line at that time you can ride! 👍🏼

We were able to ride Haunted Mansion, PeopleMover, and Buzz Lighter (x2) AFTER the fireworks on our last trip! 🥳

And the other BEST part of this tip…it’s WAY easier to walk out of the park and catch your mode of transportation! 🙌🏼

Hope this tip helps on your next visit to MK but for now, buckle up friends, these next few days are gonna feel off! 😴🤪

It’s National Plant a Flower Day but seeing as it’s currently 10 degrees and snow on the ground where I live, thought I’d just share a few of my favorite flowers grown during the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot instead!

This festival turns Epcot into such a BEAUTIFUL park…especially during these days! 😉

This year the festival is running until July 4th and as always I will recommend a visit during this festival as it’s probably my favorite! 😍

It’s and boy do I have a DELICIOUS snack for you today friends! 🤤

Over in Disney Springs at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar you can find this giant charcuterie-pretzel for $22 and I’m here to tell you, it’s worth every penny!

The Air Pirate’s Cargo Loaded Pretzel includes prosciutto, sliced brats, artisan pepperoni, smoked cheddar, black diamond cheddar, caraway pickles, spicy mustard, and beer cheese. 🤤

This made for a PERFECT lunch for the 3 of us. The two adults also enjoyed the Satipo’s Empanadas as well (swipe to see).

Jock’s is such underrated lounge in Disney but we’re here to tell you DO NOT sleep on it!

It has a GREAT small-bites and bar menu! 💯Plus if you’re an Indiana Jones fan (or not really), GREAT theming and lots of little Easter eggs! 👍🏼

Man I could go for some of those pickles right now…😋

Long time, no see!

I know…it’s been a minute.
I always think that after a visit to the parks, I’ll come back with tons of photos (which I do) and content to share with you all but then the set in and the comparison game of those who are in the parks daily and then the next thing I know it’s been WEEKS since I’ve touched this account. 😔

I want to say thank you to all of you who have reached out and booked your trips with me recently even without my social media presence. 🙏🏼

I also want to thank all of you who have shared my name to your family and friends who have mentioned they need help planning their first/next trip to Disney World. 🙏🏼

I have learned that is the biggest asset in this business.

I feel like I’m ready to get back to sharing my tips and tricks and all those favorites from our Disney trips with you all though.

It’s Thursday so why not start with beer?! 😜

Valentines Day is all about love and this photo basically has all the things I love the MOST!!! 💞

I wish today felt as special as this moment but such is life! 🤪 Can’t celebrate first marathons in your most favorite place with you two most favorite humans daily! Nah…sometimes you gotta deal with your car being stuck at the dealership with your kids snow gear for recess and a forgotten water bottle in the backpack. 🤦🏽‍♀️

☝🏼We did remember all the things for the class Valentines party though!

I feel like I’ve been a little negative with my food reviews lately, just been in a MAJOR food rut lately and not even a week of was able to cure it BUT, there was one treat that did NOT disappoint…

The Mickey Beignet 🤤

We got them to go so was unable to get a good photo of them however it doesn’t matter because the point is to let you know that the hype behind these are spot on! 💯

You get grab yourself these delicious pillows of goodness from S**t Cats Club at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort.

We stayed at Riverside but it was just a short stroll down the river to grab them, you could also take a boat ride. 👍🏼

You can get the original or covered in sprinkles OR the adults can get the boozie version! 🤩

No mater which version you get, I promise, you will NOT be disappointed!

For today’s post I’m sharing our thoughts on the Spring Rolls found in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom! 😋

Another one of those infamous that we just hadn’t gotten our hands on until this last trip!

We bought the cheeseburger spring roll and the pastrami 50th anniversary special.

While both were tasty, my husband enjoyed the pastrami one a little bit more and my son and I each enjoyed the classic cheeseburger roll!

At $9.50 it’s a little steep for a go to snack for us but definitely worth trying it out at least once. 👍🏼

This is dedicated to the best damn margarita I’ve ever had while running a marathon! 😄 Granted, I’ve only ever had this one so it’s not like there’s much to compare it to but still! 😛

This frozen mango margarita can be found in the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot for $12.50

I won’t say it’s the BEST margarita here as I still think that’s the avocado margarita you can find across the walkway in the pyramid at 🤤 but if you don’t want to wait in a long line or if you’re already grabbing a bite to eat at this quick service, then this my friends is an excellent choice!

And yeah, if your running the marathon in Disney World and crossing the finish line with a margarita in hand is a goal of yours, I highly recommend this one…doesn’t slosh around as much being that it’s frozen! 😉

For Christmas we gifted him the Lightsaber Building experience at Savi’s Workshop and pretty sure this became the best day of his short 10 years of life! 😄

We had told him from the time Galaxy’s Edge opened that he had to show us he was responsible enough to wield such an expensive “toy”.

The $219.99 plus tax experience is HIGH but if you’ve got a MAJOR Star Wars fan in your life, who you feel can be responsible with it, we HIGHLY recommend booking it!

And if you have any questions, I’ll refer you to this kid! Pretty sure he has watched every video that’s out there! 😆 He knew EXACTLY what he wanted and how he wanted built…pretty sure he could help you too! 😁

After YEARS of hearing how GOOD and ICONIC the corn dog nuggets are from Casey’s Corner, we FINALLY got a chance to eat them and y’all…we don’t get the hype. 😨

I know, talk about an but we really didn’t think they were any different then the ones you can buy in the freezer section at your local grocery store. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Also, the craziness that is the seating area at Casey’s did not help. We enjoyed the piano player, of course! And the views, but really we should’ve taken our nugs (and our loaded fries 😋) and walked towards a less crowded area.

While I don’t know if we’d get them again, I can now say that it’s one more thing crossed of my ✔️

Here’s my tip for ya on this …if you have the chance, book a stay at Port Orleans Riverside!

My husband has decided this is his favorite resort so far!

We stayed here over and it worked out perfectly as it was SO relaxing! Plus, there’s a hot tub so great for all those LONG miles! 😜

It is a STUNNING piece of property and with the Sassagoula River winding through…gorgeous and relaxing! 😌

I only can fit 10 photos in today but I’m sure more will be coming!

We had special visitors (from what I can tell, this has become a thing since the resort reopened)! We took multiple rides down the River to get to Disney Springs! We walked over to French Quarter for Mickey beignets! We swam and soles in the hot tub and had a few drinks at the Muddy Rivers pool bar while waiting out a short lighting and rain “storm”. We watched a few horses pull carriages. The boys went fishing while I was running the half (those pics to follow as their not on my phone 😉) And we got to see the lobby all decorated for Christmas!

It was a GREAT resort stay and we HIGHLY recommend this moderately priced resort for your next stay which of course you can book through me! 😉

Remember, Disney is offering a GREAT discount right now for a spring time/early summer trip! ☺️

Here for a post from one of the newest restaurants on WDW property… Steakhouse 71

In all honesty, my photos are really poor! I didn’t take many of the restaurant itself and I felt kind of rushed when tryin to grab a shot of the food so bare with me. 🙏🏼

Overall, we fell in LOVE with this restaurant! 🥰

Our lunch was delicious! (Okay the adult meals…the kid got a plain cheeseburger, which he ate but it’s just your basic burger, nothing outstanding).

The hubby order the French onion soup and has said that it’s probably his all time favorite! 🤯 Yeah, it’s THAT good!

I got the crab cake sliders…🤤 and they come with this tiny little “wedge” salad…both SO good! I could eat that salad everyday! Although, you gotta like blue cheese. ☝🏼

The decor is fantastic. So many great black and white stills with some of the big names of WDW history!

But the one downside…it was loud and felt a little chaotic. Even our server was trying to keep us longer because he was feeling SUPER overworked. 😔

HIGHLY recommend trying to book this when your 60 day window opens!

Next time maybe we’ll have try dinner, I’ve heard GREAT things about that food as well!

Oh…this would be a GREAT spot to escape Magic Kingdom too! A short monorail or boat ride over to the Contemporary! 👍🏼
