A Slice of Paradise: St. Kitts 🌺

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts during a cruise, and it was absolutely beautiful. The island blends lush natural beauty with rich culture and warm hospitality.

There are so many things to do including Old Road Rum, a smooth and flavourful treasure distilled right on the island. It’s more than just a drink – it’s a taste of St. Kitts’ history, as the island was home to the first British settlement in the Caribbean.

Wandering through the local markets was another unforgettable experience. Quaint little stalls offering stunning handmade jewellery, vibrant batik clothing, and unique artisan goods, each piece a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of the island’s people. I loved chatting with the friendly stallholders and hearing their stories. I even bought a few souvenirs to bring back home.

St. Kitts’ charm lies in its ability to make you feel at home while surrounding you with beauty and authenticity. Whether it’s sipping rum, exploring colorful markets, or simply taking in the scenery, this island is a gem I’ll always treasure.

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to cruise from Southampton aboard P&O's Arvia. After six days at sea crossing the Atlantic, we finally caught our first glimpse of land in the stunning Caribbean! 🌴
