Rafflesia arnoldii, the co**se flower or giant padma, is a species of flowering plant in the parasitic genus Rafflesia. It is noted for producing the largest individual flower on Earth. It has a strong and unpleasant odor of decaying flesh. It is native to the rainforests of Sumatra and Borneo. Although there are some plants with larger flowering organs like the titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum) and talipot palm (Corypha umbraculifera), those are technically clusters of many flowers. 🌺

Sianok Canyon is a steep valley (ravine) located on the border of Bukittinggi City, in IV Koto District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. This valley extends and winds as the city boundary line from the south of the Koto Gadang Gorge to the Sianok Anam Suku Nagari, and ends in Palupuh District. Sianok canyon has very beautiful scenery and is also one of the province's mainstay tourist attractions.

The Sianok Gorge, which is about 100 m deep, stretches for 15 km with a width of about 200 m, and is part of the fault that separates Sumatra Island into two elongated parts (Semangko fault). This fault forms a steep, even perpendicular wall and forms a green valley—the result of downward movement of the earth's crust (sinklinal)—which is flowed by Batang Sianok (batang means river, in Minangkabau language) whose water is clear. During the Dutch colonial era, this gorge was also known as karbouwengat or sanget buffalo, because of the large number of wild buffalo that lived freely at the bottom of this gorge.
