Beckham using those legs! Nice turn B!

Boom 💥 💣 🚀
Roman with a blast!
Little dudes putting their work in. Love it!
Slow Mo of Brayden
Relaxed stance/setup. Still standing a little taller than we would like to see but we are continually working to get the legs involved more. More power still in his hips and legs.
Little toe tap for timing. Been experimenting with a few timing pieces.
Balanced position at front foot strike. Barrel starting to work closely to the rear shoulder. We are working to get this motion as efficient as possible.
Home Plate Connection at contact between the arms and chest.
Solid follow through. Would prefer a little more sink with the kegs. Working on that as well.
Keep on grinding, B!

What a tight, connected turn from Brayden here! Watch how fast his left arm connects to his body and how the lower half initiates the entire sequence. Power coming from the ground up!
Home plate silhouette between his arms and chest for an extended duration of the swing. Stays through the ball nicely. Roll over doesn’t occur til much after contact. This is how you hit lasers!
Great posture - head barely moves. Turn his body in a tight space.

Working with the Powernet heavy balls and skinny bat today!
Driving THROUGH the ball. Imagine your bat is plowing into the ball and accelerating through.
Nice drives B!

Brayden killing one off the backspin tee and resembling Junior a bit!
Brayden has been with us for over 4 years now and does a minimum of 2 hours per week - lately he has been training for 4 hours weekly!
Mookie doesn’t have the traditional “extension” in his swing because he keeps his 90 in check throughout the action of the swing. Similar to Trout. They both maintain the “Punch” action very well!
What most people don’t see is the “Punch, 90 degree angle etc” at the point of contact.
You hear many people talk about getting the arms extended. “Extended arms” are at the arms weakest point.
A “flexed” arm is at the arms strongest point.
Extension happens as a result of the action.
Teaching the youths!
Life is all about learning and communicating.

Stay connected and maintain your posture!
“Being on time”
“In rhythm”
“Dance with the pitcher”
All that good stuff right here!

Rhythm & Timing
Balance
Slow to fast
Staying connected - the legs are the driving force
At launch position he is in the ideal slot to fire
Stretching his body to the max but not casting his hands away from his body. The closer you hold the bat to your body the faster you can swing it.
Watch the legs and how they work. Watch the sink after the swing. Staying balanced and using the ground and legs to the max. Ability to adjust to any pitch.
The barrel works close to the rear shoulder and never gets too far away from the body. The swing is a slight upstroke - an arc ⚾️💥
Home plate connection between the arms and chest 🏠 - the most important things happen at home!
Beautiful sequence. Relaxed. Focused. Purposeful.
Brayden with the opposite field home run!
Way to use those legs B!
Sink to stay connected!
