Yom Hashoa is the Israeli holocaust day and it starts on Monday, April 20th evening.
Yad Vashem, the Holocaust museum in Jerusalem is one of the most important sites in Jerusalem and one that all travelers are urged to visit when in Israel.
We recommend including Yad Vashem on your trip no matter when you are visiting Israel.

Purim is like a big Carnaval in Israel when people dress up and party on the street.
