Zapotecs were not originally conquered by Christians because it is surrounded by 3 mountain ranges and they didn't know it was there. Ultimately, however they were conquered. Hi from Oaxaca, Mexico.
This is only part of Mexico I have been to where they don’t (almost everyone) speak English. I look things up, say words in my mind, and when someone then asks me a question I am ruined! Just went out a different door, got lost, couldn’t answer questions and ultimately got a cab!

On my way home. If I were to take a trip more than a month, I would schedule a week in an apartment to reflect and to cook for myself! Now, Want my own bed and some mashed potatoes…I missed thanksgiving!

I love Capetown Big screen around the corner to watch the World Cup

In the shadow of Table Mountain...I always follow the music. I found the city's May Day celebration in Berlin and this in Capetown.

I sent this to Olivia as she wanted to see babies. Rachel told me to watch the one on the right.

This is the most awesome place I have ever been and there is lots of competition for that honor.

I like to think because it my last night in Damaraland the staff did some traditional dance and singing with African hand drums. I am not very good at video which will become immediately apparent. My favorite is my guide doing a moon walk.
