The first thing you will notice about is the view. Located on a hill in Gustavia, the restaurant enjoys an unbeatable panoramic outlook over the harbour. In the evening, the lights from the boats create an incredible atmosphere. With its beach-chic vibes, in-house DJ and spacious lounge area, this is easily one of the trendiest restaurants in St Barth. No trip to St Barth would be complete without a dinner at Bonito, it remains one of our favourite restaurants on the island.⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂? 🥘 ⁣

As its name hints, Bonito fuses South American ingredients with a classical French style. Light but flavour-packed starters, Peruvian ceviches and tiraditos start things off, we are big fans of the “Crispy” tuna ceviche and the sea scallop tiradito. ⁣
⁣
For the main courses meats are cooked on a charcoal grill – our favourite dishes are the Peruvian sautéed sliced beef tenderloin and the Iberian Pig Presa. Fish lovers won’t be able to resist the spiny lobster risotto. In the unlikely event that you’re still hungry, we recommend the dark chocolate mousse for dessert.⁣

Dress to impress and head to the bar before sunset, for some of the best cocktails in St Barts. Don’t miss their barrel-aged cocktails – the Negroni is our favourite. Bonito is extremely popular so booking at least a couple of weeks in advance is recommended.⁣

Its not very often that everything slots together perfectly in a restaurant, but Ocean Club St Barth manage to do just that. With an elegant atmosphere, exquisite views of the Gustavia harbor and creative cuisine, it has quickly established itself as a one of the best fine dining experiences on the island.⁣

The acclaimed head chef Jarad McCarroll brings a wealth of high-end culinary experience including at some of London’s finest restaurants including the Ritz and restaurant Ours.⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂? 🥘 ⁣

With an emphasis on modern and creative cuisine, Ocean Club features the finest ingredients which are locally sourced if possible and are cooked with a high level of technical precision. You can choose between both an a la carte and tasting menu, giving you the perfect excuse to visit more than once.⁣
⁣
Highlights of the menu include the visually stunning Tree of Life starter, a signature dish created by the chef which features broccoli, sunchoke and lemon gel.⁣
⁣
For main course the perfectly cooked turbot came with cauliflower, champagne, and caviar, and equally as impressive was the Snake River wagyu tenderloin with beetroot ketchup, jus gras and potato terrine.⁣
⁣
Desserts are also a highlight at Ocean Club. Chocolate lovers will enjoy the millefeuille with rosemary, and the “Oyster Illusion” dessert which features Samana chocolate, passion fruit cream and vanilla infused pineapple juice, with a refreshing lemon sorbet on the side.⁣
⁣
As you would expect with a restaurant of this quality, they also have an extensive wine list, and some excellent Caribbean rums which can be enjoyed after the meal.⁣

We recently heard Laylah being referred to as a ‘den of decadence’ and it’s a description the venue wears well. The restaurant opened in 2019 and is in Talamanca close to Ibiza town. It has already earned a reputation for its creative food, exquisite cocktails, and luxurious interiors. If you are looking for the perfect destination with a group of friends this is it. Laylah opens until 01.30 and with its special atmosphere you’ll want to stay for cocktails after dinner.⁣

With previous experience as a chef at El Bulli and successful restaurants established in Barcelona and Madrid with the same name – Estimar, this is one of the most exciting new openings we’ve seen in Ibiza for a few years. ⁣

Located in the bay of Cala Jondal on Ibiza’s southern coast, the restaurant focuses on seafood, with a big emphasis on seasonal dishes. With a laid-back atmosphere and Ibiza style décor using natural materials this restaurant feels like it truly belongs on the island.⁣

The restaurant seeks to source the finest organic produce and fish from Ibiza, Jondal’s menu comprises of ingredients often cooked in two separate ways. They serve a variety of mouth-watering seafood, meat, and vegetable dishes, you will need to visit more than once to fully experience the menu.⁣

On our first visit we started with simple but delicious fried anchovies with lemon and the grilled red prawns, followed by the stingray in brown butter and the exquisite signature deep fried scorpion fish, corn tortillas and jalapeño tartare sauce. If you love crema catalana, as we do, you simply must try their version with pineapple and roasted pineapple sorbet.⁣

You can also rent out sunbeds if you want to kick back, relax, and enjoy their signature cocktails in comfort, our favourite was the Paloma, a refreshing mix of tequila, lime, and grapefruit. Jondal have quickly become one of the most popular restaurants in Ibiza, so for the 2023 season we recommend booking your table at least couple a month in advance.⁣

When we think of long, warm island nights, we cannot think of a more romantic setting than Can Berri Vell in Ibiza. You will find this 17th-century casament (farmhouse) in the charming village of Sant Agusti, nestled between vineyards on the west side of the island. It is a sprawling, magical venue, with metre-thick walls and historic features at every turn. The friendly staff always make you feel extremely welcome at Can Berri Vell. A recent visit in 2022 reaffirmed that this is one of our favourite restaurants on the island.⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂? 😋 ⁣

The chef Bruno Hernandez brings his unique take on contemporary Mediterranean cuisine using the best local produce, it is no wonder Can Berri Vell is so popular with locals. On our last visit, we couldn’t stop talking about the suckling pig confit in Hojiblanca oil and the croquettes with flavours of Ibiza (sobrasada, goat cheese and flower honey). The Caramelized ‘torrijas’ with custard and honey ice-cream was the perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list, with some extremely good value bottles.⁣

Bliss. Breakfast was delicious – everything was home-made, you can choose from freshly squeezed juices, jams, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and eggs, the perfect way to start the day.⁣

With a stunning rooftop setting in the five-star Aguas De Ibiza hotel in Santa Eulària, the Pisco bar the perfect place to relax and enjoy Pisco inspired cocktails as the sun goes down. The refreshing Don Nicolas – a mix of strawberry pisco with campari and cynar is always a favourite. Even if you don’t enjoy Pisco they do a wide variety of classic cocktails, on our last visit also enjoyed a white negroni and a fruity sangria.⁣

We discovered La Luna Nell’ Orto (which is open all year round) in 2021, and we wish we had found it earlier, as it really is a hidden gem in Ibiza. You can find this restaurant in Sant Miquel in the north of the island.⁣
⁣
Part of the charm of the restaurant lies in its history, it is housed in the walls of Can Partit which is over 600 years old and provides the perfect setting for you to enjoy their creative dishes.⁣
⁣
The restaurant is owned and run by Daniel and Adrian Diaz, along with their friend Mario, and has now been established in Ibiza for 10 years. You can see the passion they have for their restaurant in the attention to detail throughout, and with the excellent service they always offer their customers. The charming outside terrace under the fig tree is the perfect location to enjoy those long summer Ibizan nights.⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂? 🥘 ⁣

Everything on the Mediterranean inspired menu at La Luna Nell’ Orto is focussed on flavour. Each dish has been created by sourcing the highest quality seasonal ingredients, locally when possible, and with produce from their own gardens.⁣

Every day they bake their own bread and focaccia in their stone oven, and make their delicious pasta dishes from scratch, to go along with a selection of meat and fish dishes.⁣
⁣
On our last visit we started with an inventive burrata salad with tomato ice cream and rocket pesto, and the aubergine parmigiana which was one of the best we’ve tasted.⁣
For main courses, we thoroughly enjoyed both the squid ink tagliatelle with monkfish and prawns and the mouth-watering lamb shoulder with roasted vegetables.⁣

Make an evening of it and arrive for aperitifs in their garden bar, we recommend the cherry negroni and the mezcal margarita on the rocks.⁣

Wander behind Bar Oubli and you’ll find Fish Corner. Johnny and Nicholas opened their market restaurant in 2018 and seafood lovers continue to flock to discover what’s waiting on the ice. It may be cosy, but it’s packed with charm. We think it’s one of the finest places to enjoy fresh fish on the island. It’s a local’s favourite and we think it’s one of the best places to enjoy fresh fish in St Barts. You can expect efficient and friendly service at this seafood restaurant.⁣

Fresh seafood and fish from the daily catch (they own their own fishing boat). The menu has been designed to let the quality of the produce shine – recipes are unfussy and the presentation straightforward. We really enjoyed the cold lobster salad, crab cakes and tuna tacos to start, followed by Mahi-Mahi burgers as our main course. The quality of the ingredients really shone through.⁣

You can also order giant fish platter on Fridays and Saturdays, made up of the best seafood produce available on the day. They will even let you take it away if you fancy enjoying it in your villa or yacht!⁣

Nestled amongst palm trees in a beautifully lit garden in Saline, Tamarin creates an aura of tranquillity unmatched on the island. It’s a truly magical setting, an oasis from the heat, with a trickling water feature and famously friendly Parrot (Cooky), who might just say hello. Le Tamarin is consistently ranked as one of the top restaurants in St Barth. We never leave the island without at least one visit to this magical restaurant.⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂? 🥘 ⁣

Food is served in the tropical garden or covered overlooking the lily ponds and it has a distinctly French/Caribbean feel inspired by head chef Jérôme Lebeau and his team. On the menu, you’ll find exotic salads, fresh pasta, grilled meats, and fish. The simple, but delicious yellow fin tuna ceviche with lime and coconut milk is always a good choice to start off, especially if you then treat yourself to the josper grilled “kobe style” wagyu picanha beef with chimichurri sauce and mashed potatoes. They also have an excellent, mainly French based wine list.⁣

You can’t visit Tamarin without sampling their signature cocktails – there’s a spicy jalapeño and passion fruit margarita and a ‘Bacon Manhattan’ (yes, really – it’s made with bacon-infused whiskey!), which pairs perfectly with the thin slices of Pata Negra ham you can order from the garden menu. Tamarin recently launched a garden hour for the 2021 and 2022 season. Join them for a selection tapas and inventive cocktails. We also recommend booking a table a few weeks in advance as Le Tamarin is extremely popular.⁣

in Ibiza Town manages to blend that perfect mix between a relaxed party atmosphere and seriously good rum inspired cocktails. Open till around 3am this is one of our favourite late night bars in Ibiza to come with a big group of friends. They shake up an incredible Pina Colada in a trendy tiki glass – with Appleton and Koko Kanu rum, pineapple, coconut sorbet, lime and rock candy vanilla syrup. What we love the most about Paradise Lost is that you can begin your evening casually drinking cocktails and few hours late be dancing on the tables to DJ inspired tunes.⁣

Whenever we take friends to they tell us it was one of their highlights of their trip to Ibiza and its easy to see why. ⁣

This stunning ecological beachside chiringuito runs purely on renewable energy and solar panels, and they also support a humanitarian aid project in Nepal.⁣
⁣
Chiringuito Cala Escondida is located in Racó den Xic and is one of the best places to enjoy a magical sunset on the island. The friendly staff will shake you up a cocktail or a cava sangria (an Ibizan speciality of fresh fruit and local cava), and they also do some excellent food to enjoy alongside the drinks.⁣

The team bakes their own bread and sources organic ingredients from their own garden where possible – so there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. They also have one of the most extensive wine lists on the island. ⁣

On our last visit, we loved the Paccheri di Gragnano au gratin, which was topped with a sinful amount of smoked scamorza cheese. Tiramisu and an Ibizan strawberry millefeuille were the perfect way to finish the evening – with an espresso martini of course.⁣

The laid-back bohemian vibes at Alemagou beach club have made it a firm favourite amongst our friends. Located on the sandy Tarsanas beach in Ftelia just 10 minutes away from Mykonos town, it’s the perfect place to relax – think giant sun beds, chilled rosé and cocktails served in coconut shells. Whether you spend a morning in the massage tent or want to kick off your shoes and dance at sunset, this is where summers are made. Alemegou is one of the best beach clubs in Mykonos, and one of those magical places that makes the island so special.⁣

We particularly love the cocktails and have spent many lazy afternoons working our way through the list, with fruit caipirinhas so good you’ll end up staying till sunset – when the party really begins!⁣

With drinks included and the staff extremely helpful at every turn, they come highly recommended, especially if you’re travelling with a group. ⁣

No trip to Mykonos would be complete without stepping foot on Platis Gialos beach, one of the prettiest and most popular beaches on the island. And while you’re there, you simply have to visit Avli Tou Thodori, which is one of the best beach side restaurants in Mykonos, whether its to spend the whole day and have a Greek feast or even if it’s just to sample some small plates with a few cocktails or a glass of wine.⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂? 😋 ⁣
⁣
You can’t travel to Mykonos without sampling some traditional Greek food. Avli Tou Thodori will show you how to eat like a local (albeit with a modern twist). Avli has an extensive menu but maintains the quality of the dishes throughout. Start your meal with some delicious mezze – grilled halloumi with tomato jam, eggplant with feta cheese and of course some pita breads with tzatziki. After a small break and a glass of wine, we recommend a couple of Greek classics; Lamb kleftiko and a Greek moussaka. We’ve yet to meet anyone who can say no to their baklava for dessert.⁣
