The weather this weekend is the vervain of our existence. ⛈️☔

Due to weather concerns, Discover Covington is cancelling the Vampire Diaries screening scheduled for this Saturday, December 2nd.

However, you can still catch your favorite episodes at a few of our local businesses!

Local Coffee House & Study Lounge will play TVD episodes on their big screen all weekend long starting Friday.

The Social Goat Tavern will show episodes on Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning.

We encourage all TVD visitors to continue to participate in the Vampire Hunt, visit our local businesses, and stop by the Covington Welcome Center. Despite the weather, we're going to make this weekend fun and memorable!

We are getting ready for our inaugural Christmas in July Market on the Square this Saturday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Covington Square! Over 80 booths, Santa, Square merchants, face painting by Facepainting Fairies, children's books from Newton County Schools Literacy 4 Georgia grant (L4GA) and music by Spence Dj Scottie! Did we mention pink flamingos in Santa hats? There are so many great booths to check out including:
