Are you enjoying summer in Khao Lak?
Today, we want to invite you to "Tachai Island" - one of the islands with clear seawater and crystal soft sand in Phang-nga.

Tachi Island is an island and is in Similan Island National Park. In fact, Tachai island is not a new island or newly found, but the national park was closed to preserve the marine environment and was just opened for tourism not long time ago. So, every time you visit there, you will see the freshness and abundance of nature.

To visit Tachai Island, we suggest getting a one-day trip from 1,300 to 2,000 bahts depending on tour guides. However, most one-day trip packages will take you to different islands and snorkel & dive into different places such as Similan and others. Also, we suggest booking at least 3 days in advance.

Then, you can drive a car to the harbor (Thup Lamu), about 23 mins away from Khao Lak. Normally, the trip will start at about 9 am, better to be there by 8.20 am because you can have breakfast and get some equipment before visiting the islands.

You will sit on a speed boat for about 1.50 hrs which you can only see water only while the boat running but after that it's heaven!

Live in Khao Lak will invite you to "Khai Nok Island" to see the unseen island.

Khai Nok Island is one of the popular destinations for overseas tourists to visit. Not only white sand, clear water but the environment in Khai Nok Island is still abundant which you can dive to see little colorful fish, rock, and corals around the island.

Moreover, you can travel to nearby islands which are Khai Nai and Khai Nui Islands.

Khai Nok Island is located in Phang-nga, however, you can travel from Phuket and Phang-nga harbors as well. From Khoa Lak, you can drive to the Harbor of Phang-nga Bay (yes, same way to Koh Pan Yi) for 1.20 hrs and take a boat for about 30 minutes.

Today Live in Khao Lak gonna invite you to "Klong Song Nam"

"Klong Song Nam" means the canal that mixes freshwater and seawater together and becomes blue brackish water and sometimes it become crystal green.

Klong Song Nam is known as the best place for relaxing and environmental learning. The charm of Klong Song Nam is the crystal clear water that visitors can see the floor, rock and plants underwater as well as when sunlight shines through it create a glittering effect on the surface. Also the millions of mangroves' roots over a hundred years that connected together and habitat of marine animals that's a naturally unique art which creates the impression while seeing.

Visitors can enjoy walking on a walkway alongside around 1200 meters of the nature trail. However, there is a spot that allows you to swim which is safe and easy to get into (near the car park).

From Khao Lak, you can easily drive there for about 2.30hrs. Klong Song Nam is located in Baan Nong Jic, Moo 2, Tumbol Kao Kram, Amphoe Mueng Krabi. On the way, you can visit several caves, rivers, beaches and more.

Today, Live in Khao Lak invite you to "Little White Sandy Beach" in Khao Lak - Lam Ru National Park, located in Kapong, Takua Pa - about 10 mins drive from the center of Khao Lak town.

In fact, there are many attractive places in Khao Lak - Lam Ru National Park that you can enjoy which we will guide you next time in terms of Khao Lak beach, Little White Sandy Beach, Lam Ru Yai Canal, Ton Chong Fah Waterfall, Lam Prao Waterfall, Hin Lard Waterfall, Lam Ru Waterfall and more!!

Know more about Little White Sandy Beach Small Beach or Thais called "Had Lek" means "Small beach" is soft and white sand and isolated beach from busyness, which is perfect for relaxing, swimming and diving.

The beach is accessible by 1.5km walking in a nature trail from the National Park office. On the way there, visitors can see rare birds and butterflies and view "the Miracle Footprint"

Also, you can camp there with 20 bahts for renting space but you need to bring your own tents and camping gear. Moreover, the diving season starts from January to May.

Today, Live in Khoa Lak gonna invite you to somewhere a bit far away from Khoa Lak, we believe you will love it. We gonna take you to ponds in the jungle - Crytal, Emerald and Blue, located in Krabi province🌄🚗🌲🌳
To travel there, 3 hours away from Khoa Lak by car. On the way there, visitors can view scenic nature, town, cafe and other national parks available to visit.
From the entrance you have to walk about 800 meters before you arrive at the Emerald Pool, however, you can go hiking to see the beauty of the jungle, rare birds, florals in the jungle around 2.7 km.
👉Emerald Pool
Emerald Pool or locals called "Sa Morakot" is a natural turquoise emerald pond. Water in the pond is clear and warm from natural streams coming down from the mountains which you are free to swim in.
👉Blue Pool
The Blue Pool or locals called "Sa Num Phut" is the source of the Emerald Pool, formed from the hot spring under the earth. Importantly swimming is prohibited because deep water and mud sucking are dangerous .

Live in Khoa Lak presents "James Bond Island"🎉🌄
James Bond Island or locals call "Koh Tapu" (Tapu in Thai means metal nail - it looks like a nail in the sea. In fact, James Bond Island comes from the James Bond movie - The Man With The Golden Gun in 1974.

Bond Island is a world-famous tourist attraction, surrounded by blue seawater, scenic nature, and mountains in the sea. Moreover, Bond island is a popular destination for water activities such as sailing and kayaking - it's a fantastic one.

To travel to Bond Island, it's located in Phang-nga Bay, on the same way to Koh Panyi. visitors need to drive to the port (1.15 hours away from Khoa Lak) and take a long tail boat for over half an hour. However, if you travel with a tour guide, you will have the opportunity to view other wonderful places such as Koh Panyi, Khoa Kien, Khao Ma Chu, Khao Phing Kan.

Today, we would invite you to view the sunrise at "Khao Khai Nui"🌅🌄

Khao Khai Nui is one of the most beautiful view spots where we can view sea mist, located in Thung Maphrao, Phang-nga🏝⛰

Visitors will enjoy the scenery of wonderful mist during sunset and sunrise time, mountains Andaman sea and sky like a dream on over 200 meters height from sea level

To reach there, it's 25kms away from Khao Lak. Due to Khao Khai Nui being located on a steep mountain, visitors are recommended to drive a vehicle with 4x4 or high ground clearance because some parts of the road are still tough and steep. Alternatively, they offer a car service to deliver visitors to the view spot.

Ko Panyi is a small island with plenty of floating houses, a school, and a futsal court. Most of the residents are fishermen, so seafood here is cheap and fresh from the sea.

One more thing, natural pearls and accessories are a well-known souvenir. With its gorgeous and perfect treasure from the sea, tourists always purchase them back to their countries.

Ko Panyi is easy to go, 1.15 hours away from Khoa Lak to the port, then you need to take the boat, about 20 minutes.

Pakarang Beach is one of the beautiful beaches in Khao Lak. You can walk along the soft white sand, get some warm waves and cold wind. It's also the perfect place to swim and relax. However, It's quite far from the main road, but you can access it by motorbike, car or even riding a horse easily. Also, Pakarang beach is a great spot for surfing between April to November.
