This week, as promised, we have a wine tasting of the @planetawinery Frappato 2018 . For anyone who has never tried the Sicilian Frappato grape, you are in for a pleasant surprise ! . Some say this type of wine can be compared to a Beaujolais as it’s fresh and light (but is not done with a carbonic maceration as is a Beaujolais) Frappato grape goes well with spicy dishes because it has low tannins and low alcohol and although it’s a red wine, many even pair it with certain fish dishes Another interesting benefit is that it can be drunk slightly chilled. So watch out White Wines and Rosés because Frappato might become your new summer wine. . Our Sommelier from a Michelin Star restaurant in Taormina Giovanni Pistorio lets you in on the details .
