I would like to express my gratitude for the wonderful training day hosted by Silversea Cruises Head Office for a select group of Travel Counsellors.

Meeting Peter Shanks MD was a real pleasure, and his willingness to spend valuable time with us demonstrated Silversea's appreciation for its trade partners.

I extend a huge thank you for the detailed presentations on the 5 new ships added to the expanding fleet of 12. The Silver Nova and Silver Ray are making a strong impact in the cruise industry.

Finally, I want to show my immense appreciation to Silversea's Expedition Manager, Pierre Thomas, for providing insight into the company's luxury expedition offerings to destinations like the Galapagos, the Arctic, and the UK. Business Travel at its best!

What a great informative, motivational and social weekend attending the Travel Counsellors for Business Conference in the iconic location of Tower Bridge at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge. My second time being a part of this well-organised event and I'm already excited about attending again next year.

Spending invaluable time with arguably the best Business Travel professionals in the UK and Head Office colleagues was truly inspiring and highly motivational. Keynote speakers such as Cally Beaton - British stand-up comedian, podcaster, writer, and former TV executive & BBC Broadcaster and Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards who needs no introduction both had us in fits of laughter on how they battled the disbelievers and tips on how to beat adversity.

Travel Counsellors for SPORT in action! 🏟

I'm sorry if this is a little quiet on socials this week. I'm currently overseas working at the European Athletics Championships 2024 in Rome / Italy. After a 'challenging' time managing flight arrivals for 170 customers into both of the Rome airports, I'm pleased to report everybody has arrived safe and sound.

Throughout the 6 day international event I'm managing the travel and accommodation logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly for GB athletes, their families, and our avid international supporters.

As always, I'm sure Team GB 🇬🇧 is so well supported by our loyal travelling fans, dominating many parts of the stadium waving the British flag and cheering on the athletes.

Flights, hotels, and transportation have all been coordinated to ensure everybody is where they need to be at exactly the right time. Also, it's not just about the sport... I've created a busy excursion schedule touring the highlights of Rome and the Vatican for everybody, including a guided beat-the-queue tour of the Colosseum, the Vatican, St Peter's Basilica to name a few ancient sights.

Vietnam Uncovered!

South East Asia has always been my love affair, and this recent organised tour of Northern Vietnam didn’t disappoint.
