Sharing a little about your hosts for the evening - Roya and I connected on Instagram as women building a creative culinary outlet with a passion for bringing people together.

Roya is a master curator - of style, through her 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, and of beautiful moments, as the Co-Founder of Wine Dine & Line, a London based supper club that merges food, art, music and wine. Based in Notting Hill, her ability to find emerging talent in her beloved city, is what makes working with her so exciting.

Kella is a master connector - as the founder of Nomad Home, she is on a mission to connect a community of likeminded entrepreneurs, remote workers & creatives - one dinner party at a time. Inspired by her love of food and years of remote work, she is creating elevated slow travel and culinary experiences that set the table to deep relationships. An explorer at heart, she is based anywhere around the globe where you will find Nomad Home retreats, supper club, and bespoke events.

One of the favourite things about building Nomad Home is getting to meet, connect, and partner with the people I admire in the food world.

Simply going beyond this app to connect as humans has brought me more joy than I could have imagined.

I’ve been a longtime fan of and her cooking, events, and eye for all things beautiful so I am esctatic that she will be the Private Chef & Table Stylist for the second half of our upcoming Tuscany retreat (Oct 21-Nov 4).

Our experience will also have Jasper, master sourdough baker, to bring us through a bread baking workshop - perfect to soak up the liquid gold that is Italian olive oil. He has lovingly cultivated his perfect sourdough starter for the last 6 years, which has seen kitchens across Canada, Netherlands, and now Italy.

Throwing it back to one of the moments that solidified my obsession with Italian food: Chef’s Table Season 1 Episode 1, Osteria Francescana.

That episode may or may not have led to my change of business school choices from Paris to Milan - to be closer to the food, products, and warm culture I wanted to experience daily.

The pinnacle of that experience is the iconic 3 Star Michelin and “World’s Best Restaurant” in 2016 and 2018, directed by Massimo Bottura, which needs no introduction.

This lunch, which I waited patiently on the waitlist for 4 months for, that’s availability notification sent me on a train through Italy, ended up being fundamental to my love for the country.

It brought me to towns I wouldn’t have otherwise have crossed, with respect for specialized, high quality products, from the vinegar in Modena to parmigiana in Parma. It sparked a little love affair with the small towns and countryside in the country - that has invariably led to the creation of Nomad Home today.

Reintroducing myself as there are some new faces here 🤍

Can’t wait to meet you - I’m Kella, the founder of Nomad Home, and a lover of all things fine wine, food, & dinner parties.

I fell in love with slow travel over the last 2 years when I was fortunate enough to live and work across 4 continents as a Digital Nomad. However, I often found it difficult to find people with a similar lifestyle and passions to do upscale food experiences with.

I firmly believe that community is the most important thing in life. The magic that happens around the dinner table, with long meals and longer conversations, was the beautiful secret sauce to building the deep relationships that brought so much joy to my life. That’s why, many solo Michelin star dinners and cooking classes later, I decided to create the community I wanted to be a part of - which is how Nomad Home was born.

Nomad Home’s purpose is to bring together the fun loving and food obsessed to indulge through life with, one dinner party at a time. We cultivate lifelong relationships while sharing in the world’s best culinary experiences.

We are fortunate to partner with some of the best culinary artisans, Michelin star restaurants & wineries, and chefs & table stylists in the industry, and are on a mission to curate the most unique and elevated experiences for our community.

We are here to live, work, eat the way we want and not the way corporate society has taught us.

We're thrilled to introduce our partner, La Badiola, a gorgeous Renaissance winery and villa, for our upcoming Tuscany retreat! 🍇✨

This historic villa, was chosen as a royal residence and personal winery by Elisa, the Grand Duchess of Tuscany and Princess of Lucca, and Napoleon Bonaparte's sister. 🏰

Her passion for winemaking saw French grapes and the champagne method for sparkling wine being brought over to Tuscany.

It’s been so inspiring the meet the artisans that have perfected their craft through generations and witness the dedication to preserving family properties, whether it's a villa, vineyard or a farmhouse. Witnessing this legacy firsthand is one of the reasons I started this business, to connect on a deeper level to the places I travel and call home.

Slow travel allows me to immerse myself, embracing the people and human stories that make each destination unique while remote work allows me to break from corporate confines to hear these stories.
