Loch Vaa is one of the cutest spots in Aviemore and a lot less busy than Loch Morlich. This little boat shed has become somewhat of an iconic feature to photograph, I love the contrast of the roof to the water, especially when it’s icy.
Aviemore is a gem of a place to visit but extremely busy in holiday season so I’d recommend that you book ahead!

I never knew there were pods this luxurious so close to Glasgow . This was ideal for a night away without kids but so accessible. have created the most beautiful accommodation, each with their own hot tubs and decorated to the highest standard. They also have a beautiful bbq area for guests to use.
