My recent trip through Kenya and Tanzania: we were lucky with the animals despite the long grasses and rain. On the other hand the weather gave us nice lush green sceneries and made the environment so relaxing 😌. The baby elephant at masai mara was so cute and just kept enjoying himself in the water puddle on the road 😀 we couldn't get enough of him, until mum came n told him to get up. Babies will always be babies no matter the species ❤️. The white rhinos at lake nakuru were amazing, just seeing them walk across the road n minding their own business was just serene. The whole experience was just awesome 👌 👏.

Gorilla trekking day. It was a lovely day to go trekking. Drove through some interesting roads before getting to the start point. After some entertainment by the local community our adventure was just about to begin. Our trekking through the jungle was pretty short( less than 30minutes) guess we were super lucky.
We were accompanied by 2 Rangers, 1 guide and a team of trackers who had gone ahead to ensure we didn't miss out on this opportunity.
We encountered the gorilla family 3 Silverbacks a 3 year old baby the youngest of the group. His 6 year old sister and their mum. One of the Silverbacks was overly protective of an expectant female. The group has a total of 9 members. We found them during the chilling time which was fantastic though the baby was very curious 😉 and very playful just like human babies.
We got to spend just over an hour with the family and we made the most of it. They are such gentle creatures 😍 💕. Being there with them makes you easily fall in love with them n want to do everything to ensure they are always protected so that our future generations can also get to experience what I did. From a far they look like giants but in reality they are very gentle creatures. Words are not enough to explain or to give a full picture of this experience; the only way is for you to book a ticket and come and experience this yourselves.

It was a nice day to go for the chimpanzees trekking at Kibale forest national park. The chimpanzee lives in groups that range in size from 15 to 150 members, although individuals travel and forage in much smaller groups during the day. They are led by the alpha male and mainly stay on top of trees, looking for fruits and for safety. Biggest threat are human encroachment and poaching activities.
