The DG of , , was in the team of the Minister of , Alhaji Lai Muhammed, on a 2-day working visit to Nasarawa State, from yesterday, March 26 to the 27, 2021.

The entourage were well received and chaperoned around touristy discussions by the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule and Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe.

After the exciting reception in Lafia, by State officials led by the the Deputy Governor, the Minister's entourage proceeded on an on-the-spot accessment of the fabled *Farin Ruwa waterfalls* in Wamba Local Government of Nasarawa State. The waterfall is one of the most fascinating in West Africa.

The Minister's visit will, among others, help to chart a new course and explore new frontiers to strengthen the Tourism industry and accelerate its development in Nasarawa State. To this extent, the Honourable Minister of Information and Culture announced that will immediately commence training of a Nasarawa State Tourism officials on Tour Guiding and related destination management best practices.
