Despite their surroundings, they run, they play tag, and they keep the spark of their youth alive.

They serve as a testament to the indomitable human spirit, a stirring reminder that life goes on and hope persists, even in the most challenging circumstances. The resilience of the Ukrainian people under such adversities is awe-inspiring and deeply humbling.

❗️The head of "Energoatom" Petro Kotin said that the explosion at the Kakhovska HPP will not affect the operation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. He explained that the reactors are cooled from a pond that is not connected to the Kakhovsky Reservoir and does not depend on it.

According to him, water from the pond is used to cool the reactors, but they are not working now. If all the reactors were operating, the ponds would need to be refilled roughly every month as the water evaporates. But now, the water level in the pond has hardly changed, it has not been replenished since September last year. In case of a critical situation, the ponds can be replenished with water from alternative sources to the Kakhovsky Reservoir.

On this day, 37 years ago, the world witnessed one of the most catastrophic nuclear disasters in history - the Chernobyl disaster. Today, we honor the lives lost and the brave individuals who risked everything to contain the disaster and minimize its impact.

As a tourism company, we have always been dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of Chernobyl for future generations. However, given the recent conflict and instability in the region, we must prioritize the safety and well-being of our visitors and the people of Ukraine.

Our hearts go out to those who have been affected by the ongoing conflict and we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. We pray for victory and look forward to the day when we can once again safely offer tours to this historic site.

Until then, let us continue to remember the past, honor those who sacrificed so much, and work towards a brighter future. We do have tours available to other parts of Ukraine that are safer, and details are available on our website or via message.

I'm truly in awe of these two new stencil artworks that have just been unveiled on the rubble of destroyed apartment blocks in Borodyanka. The first piece features a beautiful drawing of Lesya Ukrainka, a renowned Ukrainian poet, while the second showcases an elderly couple sharing a tender moment together.

These artworks are a testament to the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people in the face of unimaginable adversity. Despite the destruction caused by the russian invasion, the people of Borodyanka refuse to be silenced or defeated. They continue to create and inspire, even amidst the rubble.

Let's take a moment to honor the courage and creativity of these incredible artists and the community they represent. Share this post to spread the word about these powerful pieces of art and the ongoing struggle for justice and peace in Ukraine.

As we continue to hear news about the ongoing war in Ukraine, there's a heartbreaking reality that often goes unnoticed - the plight of dogs left behind. 💔 Many of these innocent fur babies have been abandoned due to the war, either because their owners are no longer alive or because their owners had to evacuate and couldn't take their beloved pets with them.

These dogs are left vulnerable and struggling to survive in the midst of the conflict. They face hunger, danger, and harsh conditions, and their suffering is heart-wrenching. As animal lovers, we cannot turn a blind eye to their plight.

We urge everyone to extend their compassion and support to these innocent dogs in Ukraine. There are various animal rescue organizations and shelters working tirelessly to provide food, medical care, and shelter to these abandoned pets. You can help by donating to these organizations, volunteering, or spreading awareness about this issue.

Let's come together as a community to show kindness and support to these voiceless creatures who are caught in the crossfire of war. Every life matters, and these dogs deserve a chance at a better life. 🐾🇺🇦

We are now offering trips to Ukraine again - message us or check out the website for more information.

This is one of many floating bridges in Ukraine that are a symbol of adaptability and resilience in the face of adversity. After the regular bridge was blown up to stop the Russian advance in February 2022, this floating bridge has become a lifeline, connecting people and communities. It's a testament to the strength and determination of the Ukrainian people to rebuild and overcome challenges.

Heartbreaking reality hits hard when you witness it in person. Recently, we had the opportunity to show some visitors a bombed school in Ukraine, and it was a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of the invasion. This photo shows two visitors to Ukraine, capturing the aftermath of the missile strike.

Let me tell you, it's a whole different experience being here compared to watching it on TV.

Talking to the people who were present when the missile hit and seeing them search through the rubble for their belongings was gut-wrenching. The fear and trauma in their eyes were palpable. It's a stark reminder of how war affects innocent civilians, especially children.

As we go about our daily lives, it's easy to become desensitized to the news we see on TV or social media. But being on the ground, witnessing the aftermath of such destruction, has left an indelible mark on me. It's a stark reminder to be grateful for the safety and security we often take for granted, and to do whatever we can to promote peace and empathy in our world.

To come to Ukraine and see this for yourself, check out https://contamination.zone or send us a message.

Prepare yourself for a chilling account of a siege by russian invaders that left over fifty lives lost in a single apartment block.

During our trip today, we encountered an elderly man who had courageously remained in his home since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion. His story was one of survival, hope, and desperation.

According to him, the "russian world" descended upon his community on March 3rd, 2022, with a deadly barrage of gunfire and rocket attacks that destroyed everything in their path. Despite the danger, he was unable to leave his apartment as he was the sole caretaker for his disabled and blind brother who could not travel far.

Our hearts were heavy as he urged us to share the images and stories of the destruction that had befallen his community. He implored us to continue to bear witness to the atrocities of the invasion and invite others to do the same.

Though the area is now liberated, many other regions are still under attack, and innocent lives continue to be lost. We spoke with this resilient man for 25 minutes, after which he had to return to his brother's side.

Let his story be a reminder of the devastating consequences of war and the courage it takes to survive.

We have a limited number of spaces left on our upcoming trips to Ukraine - message us for further information or check out https://contamination.zone/visit-chernobyl for bookings.

Throughout the full scale invasion of Ukraine, the colours of blue and yellow have become a worldwide symbol of peace, strength, courage and freedom. Here, as we pass one of many destroyed bridges on our journey through Ukraine, you can see that before the destruction the handrails had been painted blue and yellow.

We are now running a limited number of trips to Ukraine, to demonstrate the strength, courage and bravery that has been shown here. More details are available at https://contamination.zone/visit-chernobyl/
