WHY WE LOVE MEXICO CITY

Mexico City is a megalopolis, a giant city of over 22 million people. It is also one of our favorite cities in the world!

Visit ancient Aztec ruins and temples, have some food, drinks and a whole Mexican fiesta (mariachis included) while floating in the canals of Xochimilco

Follow the steps of Diego and Frida all over the city - from the famous Casa Azul where Frida lived, to the house they shared in San Angel (they each had a home and a bridge connected the two houses), the murals of the Palacio de Bellas Artes, and Palacio Nacional. Mexico City was their home!

Mexico City has one of the largest concentrations of museums of any city in the world. It's a very interesting city!

Whether you explore the heart of Mexico City by going to an old-school cantina, a lucha libre spectacle, eat your way through mind-blowing street tacos or visit neighborhoods that are full of charm, this city is one-of-kind
