Somaliland has changed quite a bit since the Bradt Travel Guide was published. Do not expect restaurants described in the book to still be open. Lots of new hotels have appeared in both Hergeisa and Berbera. These seem to be of a higher quality than the ones listed in the guide book. It is worth having a look at some of them.
