Attention Kiosk Owners...we highly, very highly recommend connecting your kiosks to a surge protector. The spring storms are producing incredible amounts of lightening in our state and a couple of kiosks have been hit. Make sure you plug your electrical devices into a surge protector. Thanks.

You guys have to make plans to go to Food Stock next year in downtown Somerset. You will not be disappointed. I also got the chance to visit a local pub called Birdies and Barrels . My kind of music was playing, the bartender was so nice and I felt very welcome. If you find yourself in Somerset, its a MUST go to venue. Leslie does an amazing job with Food Stock. Congratulations.

Hello Friends! Happy Foodstock! We have $4 domestics 🍻, $5 select crafts, Delta 8 🥦, and Delta 9 🥦 drinks available all day. We have the beer table set up at the garage door and our bartenders are ready to craft the best cocktails in town 🍸🍹!

I want to say something to the Tourism Directors and those individuals in the industry. Keep up the good fight. Many of you face challenges that people can't fathom. You have board members who will never be on your side. You face naysayers in your community who seemingly have all the answers. The fact is it is difficult being the Cheif, especially when there doesn't seem to be enough Indians willing to roll their sleeves up to get the work done. Most people don't even know what the definition of tourism is. You guys do important work. You bring visitors to your community which in turn creates jobs. The Nellie Naggers of the world think you have a cozy 9-5 day and get to travel. I've seen what you do and Tourism is not a 9-5 job. Many of you at some point or another have worked a 100 hour week. You have tried your best to answer a 100 emails, a 100 texts and a 100 more phone calls. You take your work home with you. These people who want to be the Cheif have no idea what they are asking for. I love the fact you are a big huge extended family. You have each others back. You cheer each other on. You collaborate and plan and you bounce ideas off each other. There is power in synergy. As far as I can tell, you have a thankless job, yet you carry on with conviction and passion that most do not have. You love your people and your community. You make your homes a better place to live. Thank you so much for what you do. You are appreciated.

These will show our website - visitcolumbiaky.com and show locals and tourist what to do, where to shop, where to eat, and where to stay in Adair County. Excited to get these out there!
