There’s more to the Walt Disney World parks than rides. Even though that’s obviously a major attraction for most visitors there are plenty of people who do not ride many rides or simply can’t. So, when it comes to stuff to do beyond rides I find EPCOT is such a great option as there seems to be entertainment, food and activities around every corner.

Backwards beach days are when you start your day at the beach towards the later afternoon/early evening rather than first thing in the morning and honestly I love it so much.
Here’s why:
🏖️ Lower UV index means lugging less stuff (like unbrellas and tents). Also less likely to get sunburns (always wear sunscreen though!)
🏖️ Less crowds!
🏖️ The natural transition to night and no fighting with kids about when it’s time to pack up and leave
🏖️Watching the sunset together
🏖️ Doing indoor activities and exploring where you are in the hotter part of the day (aquariums, shops, etc)
I highly recommend if you aren’t a big beach person like me but maybe your family is. It’s a game changer!
