FOR THOSE PLANNING TO TRAVEL TO THE PHILIPPINES

We will now be required to pay for a COVID Test (P3,500) upon arrival to the Philippines and be subjected to quarantine for 3 to 5 days to a hotel that we will need to pay for until the results come in.
All arriving passengers are required to go thru the RT-PCR test.
1. For OFWs, PhilHealth will pay. RT-PCR Test cost P3,500. For Non-OFW at their own expense. But if they are PhilHealth members, they can charge it as long as they have PhilHealth membership number then fill up it to the form for swabbing.
2. From NAIA, OFW will be brought to a Gov't.- designated quarantine facility. For non-OFWs, to a hotel of their choice, at their own expense. They will wait for 3-4 days until results come out.
3. If test results is positive, passengers will be picked up by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) who shall assume jurisdiction in monitoring them. If test results is negative, BOQ will issue a certificate stating that person is NEGATIVE in the PCR test.
4. For those who are tested negative and have been issued a certificate, they can leave hotel and go home to their residences.
The Department of Transportation might be able to help you passengers' transportation in going to their residences.
