This page was created by an ex-crew member on board passenger cruise lines, to share anonymously the salaries and positions of crew members on board, so newcomers and experienced crew, can see where they stand at.
This page was created to be transparent with all the current and future crew members who might seek a career at sea, and that we can share as much information as possible with the community.
We will post with the information you will provide us, the current salaries that various crew members are getting on their current cruise lines. All the submissions will be anonymous and only admins of this page will be able to post.
Any crew member that wishes to share his current status of employment, is more than welcome to send us the details of his employment in the following format.

Bonuses(If you have) - 400$ each month

Working hours during navigation day - 8 hours shift, rest of the day off.
Working hours during port - 4 hours shifts, 8 hours rest, 4 hours shift again.
Cruise-line - RCCL
Length of contract - 6 month on board, 2 month home.
Age - 35

Cabin (Single or not) - bunkbeds with 1 partner.
Additional perks (Buffet, passenger area permission, allowance, etc..) - Passenger areas until 2 AM.

Do you recommend working with the cruise-line? (Please explain shortly why yes or no). - Yes, the salary is good, head of departments are good. Food is not the best in the crewmess but i can use the buffet at evenings and port-time.
