Putting Oma Leen's - a new farm-to-table restaurant in the tiny Texas town of Walnut Springs, down near Glen Rose on my list!

The young owners converted a century-old building into a lively, upbeat restaurant, where they serve a mix of American, Cajun and Italian cuisine, including handmade pasta.

“What a great little house! It is in a super safe neighborhood, it's updated and it feels like you are in your own little corner of the world. We loved the kid plates/cups that were available and the two pack n plays. Everything was super clean and kid-friendly. Our 3 year old loved the bunk beds and the backyard. We had some beautiful nights having a fire outside and staring up at the stars. Our family of 4 highly recommends this home!”

Our Guest Book is FULL!!! Angela and I bought this amazing property in Glen Rose in June of 2019.

Our goal was to have a “weekend getaway” of our own that we could help afford via the short-term rental market.

Angela spent countless hours and poured her heart into making this place perfect for our family, which resulted in an amazing vacation experience for families from all over the globe!

Our first “guests” checked in October 5, 2019 and left a simple, yet great note in our Guest Book.

Our most recent guest and last entry left a 2-pager, stating, “We have been coming to Glen Rose for about 20 years from the Dallas area. We have stayed at many places here but this was the best by far”.

We’re so proud of this place, and I’m so proud of Angela in particular for the love and thought she put into making this house a Home.

We’re making it a point to come stay here 1 night per month, even though we now live 8 minutes away!

Many thanks to all that have chosen to spend their family vacation at our home away from home, and time to start a new Guest Book!
