//// CONFERINŢE / EXCURSIE LA BISERICI DE LEMN DIN BANAT / MASĂ ROTUNDĂ ////
Dragi prieteni,
Ultimul eveniment, cel care încheie ciclul activităţilor de la Timişoara din cadrul proiectului Oglinda de lemn II, este suita de conferinţe de specialitate, urmate de o zi de excursii la trei dintre cele mai valoroase biserici de lemn din Banat, apoi de o masă rotundă cu toţi specialiştii invitaţi.
În intervalul 10-11 august, începând cu orele 18:00, la Palatul Ştefania din cartierul Fabric, vom susține o serie de conferințe ale unor experți în domeniul patrimoniului din ţară şi din străinătate, de la specialiști în domeniul arhitecturii la reprezentanți ai instituțiilor decidente, abordând teme legate de importanța valorificării patrimoniului de lemn din România: starea de conservare, relația cu comunitatea locală, rolul patrimoniului de lemn în memoria colectivă, soluții concrete de salvgardare/restaurare și valorificare a acestui tip de monumente istorice.
Conferinţele vor fi susţinute exclusiv în limba engleză.

A treia zi, pe 12 august, va avea loc o excursie la bisericile de lemn din Crivina de Sus, Povergina şi Dragomireşti, sub ghidajul arh. Alexandru Baboş. Plecarea se face de la ora 9:00 din Timişoara. Turul este dedicat publicului larg, iar transportul este asigurat de către Asociația Biserici Înlemnite, în baza înscrierii prin formular; locurile sunt limitate.
În ultima zi, pe 13 august, în preajma şarpantei din Parcul Regina Maria (fost Poporului), între orele 11:00-14:00, va avea loc o masă rotundă unde se vor trasa concluziile discuţiilor din zilele anterioare.

Dear friends,
The event that concludes the cycle of activities in Timişoara within the Wooden Mirror II project is a series of conferences, followed by a field trip to three of the most valuable wooden churches in Banat, then a round table with all the invited specialists.
On the 10th and 11th of August, starting at 18:00, at the Ștefania Palace in the Fabric district, we will host a series of conferences by heritage experts from Romania and abroad, specialists in architecture and representatives of decision-making institutions, addressing topics related to the importance of the valorisation of the wooden heritage in Romania: its state of conservation, its relationship with the local community, the role of the wooden heritage in the collective memory, and viable solutions for safeguarding, restoration and valorisation of this type of built heritage.
The conferences will be held exclusively in English.

On the third day, the 12th of August, there will be a field trip to the wooden churches of Crivina de Sus, Povergina and Dragomirești, under the guidance of architect Alexandru Baboş. Departure from Timisoara is scheduled for 9:00 am. The tour is dedicated to the general public, and transport will be provided by The Wooden Churches Association, based on registration form; places are limited.
On the last day, the 13th of August, a round table event will take place around the roof structure in Queen Marie Park (formerly known as the People's Park), from 11:00-14:00, to draw conclusions from the previous days' discussions.
