A license for music till 11pm and still going at 23:25 on a Sunday night. Called in a few times and spoken to the owner last year about it as well. Now the new manager is doing the same thing and it’s time to publicly show they r not willing to honour their license they got. We love that the theatre is used and doing well. But people do live very near and need to sleep, hence there is a 11pm limit for music (and the loud people outside might need to keep a bit quieter as well). 🙏 (it’s 23:30 now and still very loud) Esher Theatre 🎭 Elmbridge BC

Who is up for some adventure later this year? 11-18 Sept 2024 an 8-day adventure in Nepal, pick up (and drop off) at Kathmandu airport (yes u book you own flights from wherever you live in the world, from London 10-19 Sept) and experience Kathmandu for a few days (incl a guided city tour). After 2 nights in Kathmandu u hop in a chauffeur driven jeep along the south side of the Himalayan mountains to Pokhara (1 night in hotel), from there a 3-day bespoke jeep safari in the Upper Mustang region (around / near Annapurna 🏔️ (8091m). Back for a night in Pokhara and the following day back to Kathmandu by jeep to indulge in an amazing farewell diner (best food you ever had). My last minute surprise trip to the Andes mountains in May 2018. My holiday was in Buenos Aires and surrounding area. After getting used to the big city I loved it. So much to explore and see. A day trip with the ferry to Uruguay was amazing, visiting the old part of Colonia del Sacramento with its old charm and beautiful cobbled streets. Back in Buenos Aires I experienced a tango / diner evening which was very cool. Lots of walking and exploring. Then the forecast for the weekend was rain rain rain so I booked last minute to go to Chile, Santiago. Beautiful flight over the Andes 🏔️ and so hoping to find a day tour up into the Andes. Arrived at my cheap and cheerful hostel (I only sleep and shower there, and out all day) and just checked in, dropped my bag in my room and went downstairs to the reception area to see if I can find a day tour up into the Andes when an earthquake hit the city, shaking the floor . . . “Oh this happens every day” they told so me so I carried on. But they could not help me with the Andes tour so I went around the corner to a very posh hotel. The concierge managed to find me a day tour by bus into the Andes for the next day 🥳, amazing! Then I checked their prices in their hotel, went outside, checked Expedia and booked 2 nights in that hotel as my hostel was very basic and not comfortable at all. So I grabbed my stuff from the hostel and checked in at the posh hotel. They even gave me the presidential suite with 2 double beds . . . . 1 for every night 😛. The next day up early and had an amazing tour in the Andes mountains, high up in the San Jose de Maipo region (glaciers and lakes, beautiful valleys, great food and people. What an experience and so lucky to manage to get in this tour. The next day wondered around the city before flying back the following day to Buenos Aires where the weather brightened up. More exploring before heading back home. I will be back Argentina/Chile and explore the southern Patagonia region 🙂 C
