Simplicity at it's finest! How to create a simple, yet comfortable bedroom for your guests.👇

🧳 Creating space for their belongings. Keep the room clear for travel bags or suitcases, and provide a dresser and bedside table so that guests can keep their things organized and close by.

🛌 Keep in mind of different comfort levels. You have the mattress and pillows, but providing a few more throw pillows and an extra blanket not only works as decor, but as additional options for your guests sleeping preferences.

🖼 Be thoughtful about your design. Too much open space makes a room feel empty and impersonal, but adding in a statement piece like a painting or vase can help make it more homey. Even just coordinating color palettes across the room does a lot!

2️⃣ Be friendly, professional, and quick when it comes to guest communication!
Ensuring your messages are welcoming and informative can allow you to build an understanding with every guest. This leads to positive reviews and repeat bookings!

3️⃣ Stay Organized: Keep track of bookings, cleaning schedules, and maintenance tasks. Use tools like shared calendars and/or a PMS to stay organized and ensure nothing falls through the cracks!

Did you know Nomadik has teamed up with and to raise money for Domi Dufur? 🧡🫶🏼

Domi is a 27 year old who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia [AML] in December 2022. After months of chemotherapy, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant in March 2023 she was cancer free for a year.

Early this past April Domi relapsed and was readmitted for more chemotherapy to battle her cancer. She strongly battled through a serious fungal infection in her lungs along with various complications from her treatments.

Although this relapse has been devastating to Domi and her family, she refuses to let her cancer win and is determined to get healthier day by day!

There are various auction items aside from ours that are not only from Reno based businesses, but ALL their proceeds will benefit Domi and help spread awareness about this rare form of leukemia!🧡

We are offering a TWO NIGHT STAY at Clio Cabin with an estimated value of $1400 and a current bid at $475.

Property Management System (PMS): This is essential for keeping track of reservations, maintenance schedules, guest communications, and many more. It can also automate booking confirmations and reminders, which saves time and reduces errors!

Property inspections: Periodic checks are crucial to ensure everything is in good order and address any maintenance issues. This can also be done to restock any toilet paper or paper towels and replace linens or towels.

Having a cohost to help you manage the workload also gives any host more of a work life balance!😉

While we love to focus on cleaning the inside of our properties for spring cleaning, it's also important to note that guests often enjoy outdoor spaces during the spring and summer!

You can do this by:

💡Assessing the condition of your outdoor furniture: Does anything need to be cleaned or repaired? Do cushions or pillows need to be updated?

💡Focusing on the landscaping: Are there any debris, dead foliage or weeds that need to be cleared? Are there ways to incorporate colors and life to your yard? Is there enough lighting or a good atmosphere?
