Another great day in Barbados, my twins were lucky enough to meet a Hollywood superstar (who was an absolute gentleman) and we finished off having a sundowner watching an amazing sunset - we have availability for February if you want to escape the winter 😎

We are proud to have supported Hope House,Ty Gobaith (children’s hospice) at a fund raising event recently, we put our property into there auction to help them raise some money, amazingly it raised £7500.00 on the night, total money raised was nearly £70,000 👌 it was a great day (clay pigeon shoot) my first time!! - also attended by Gethin Jones who helped get the auction going (well done Gethin) if anyone can offer any help to an amazing children’s hospice there details are below.

The gardeners have finished …. for now …. Plans to put in a water feature / up lighting the trees etc later this year but we need a break - big thank you to Corrie and his team in Barbados for sorting the gardens out and cleaning up just in time for this weeks guests Maxine snd Geoff who has just landed, hope you have a lovely holiday

So Parnassus cottage will have its first guests staying there tomorrow night, I believe this cottage has been empty for around 30 years, it’s been a great year seeing this former derelict property turned into a beautiful spacious holiday home 😎 if you want to rent holiday accommodation on the Sandy lane estate in Barbados please get in touch

I’m back in the uk now but the team are going full steam ahead outside, just received the garden design which looks really good, the gate pillars are being built and the JCB has turned up today to tidy up - we need to lay a new driveway, there’s a lot to do but we hope to still be ready (more or less) for Christmas 🎅

We’re making progress 😎 the builders are now snagging the rest of the interior and starting the outside works and pool …. I came over this week, Great progress inside the cottage, the kitchen has arrived and is getting fitted next week, all on course for its first guests (us) at Christmas, having an hour in Sandy Lane beach club right now, really quiet & chilled here today 😎

Latest and final design of the new build, we tried to use a UK architect but unfortunately it proved problematic so we instructed a local architect, this is there design of the main house.

Hello all, popped over to catch up with the team, going great guns over here, Cottage looks like it’s been hit by a missile but assured it will soon be getting rebuilt and main house land flattened ready for its replacement.
