Join us for a vegan picnic to celebrate summer and our rescued pig friends! Enjoy a guided tour of our sanctuary and meet the rescued animal residents that call Pasado’s Safe Haven home. The event will include special treats for the animals and a delicious meal for you after your tour! On the menu is a classic BBQ picnic with vegan hamburgers and hotdogs, plus all the fixings and an assortment of salads and sides. The Pig Friendly Picnic is a great summer event for animal lovers of all ages!

How very cool! For their first annual event, Adams County Pet Rescue raised over $20k! Super excited to have attended this. This is the rescue that rescued Dottie, so they are near and dear to our hearts.

Hi, Dottie's Basecamp friends!

Don't miss Spring in Packwood! There is plenty to keep you busy (or plenty of relaxing to do, as well!)

We'd like to highlight that April 22 is Free Entry Day to the National Parks, so we recommend splitting your day between Mount Rainier National Park and White Pass Ski Area's annual pond skim event (video below).

A few more weeks to get on the mountain, then we enter spring hiking and mushroom foraging season.

We have availability, and better yet, any stay through June generates a donation to Adams County Pet Rescue!

How cool that our featured rescue, Adams County Pet Rescue, attended the Mariners Bark in the Park event! Dogs + Baseball in the crisp Seattle air? Heck yeah!

Spring is here, and while we have a few more weeks of epic snow to shred at White Pass, it's also time to get those hikes with your pup on your calendar. Book your stay at our dog-friendly basecamp! Link in our bio!

This is so cool on so many levels. Our first event at Bark in the Park at tonight's Mariners game! We are so lucky to have volunteers that have adopted from us, helping tonight. Erika and her husband, Spencer are walking our little scruffy Othello mutts around the stadium. Malinda and her partner, Joe are with a couple of the other dogs but not in the picture.
Look how cute our little farm dogs are at the big event. We hope all of the dogs find homes tonight. Not just ours but the ones that were also brought by other organizations.

As you noted in our listing, our rental directs a portion of each stay to a PNW animal rescue or shelter that holds a no-kill designation. Stays through the end of June will result in funds being directed to Adams County Pet Rescue, a rescue in Othello, WA and that just happens to be the rescue from which we adopted Dottie!

ACPR does TONS of good work for rural Washington, and we appreciate that they go above and beyond to rescue pets and get them into good homes.

Dottie's litter had been abandoned on their door step in the cold February elements, and ACPR arranged for the litter to be bottlefed and trained prior to being adopted out, and Dottie is the perfect adventure dog, so we think they did a great job!
